This beautiful modern home in the country on 10 acres is 3,000 sq.ft. The house has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 king beds & two futons. Sleep by Number bed in master and memory foam in the other bedrooms. High quality bedding with down comforters. There is a large kitchen with dining room and three 'family rooms' w/ four couches. A utility room with washer & dryer. The master suite has a large master bathroom with a 3.5'x6' tub and a double shower. TV with satellite service and wifi internet. Natural Swimming Pool great for cooling off or just relaxing nearby. Property is perfect for a family gathering or guys or gals retreat. Also would make a lovely couples romantic getaway. Enjoy the natural surroundings and unplug (or not) from daily stress. Lawrence, KS is just a 20 min drive away with plenty of sports bars and restaurants. The house is in a perfect location just 45 min from the KCI airport, 20 minutes to the University of KS in Lawrence, and 15-20 min to Legends Outlet Mall, NASCAR track, Sporting KC soccer stadium, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Cabellas, etc. There is a wood burning stove in the lower level family/living room. The house is secluded, quiet and comfortable. There are great views with beautiful sunsets. An outdoor fire pit and hiking trails are also available.

Summary: Quiet location and great house. We stayed to attend a KU game, it was the perfect location and size for our family.

Summary: This beautiful home in the country was a perfect Christmas get-away for 10 adult members of our family. There was plenty of room to spread out comfortably in the four living areas, including a sitting area with a wood stove. The owner was very helpful and accessible as needed. The country setting was private and peaceful with an amazing view of the surroundings and spectacular sunsets from the balcony. The three bedrooms were very comfortable - the master bath was incredible as were the light fixtures throughout much of the house. The fourth bed in the "closet" area was a little close quarters as it has a low roof and is separated from another bedroom by only a curtain, but it was "workable". The only shortcoming of this house was that all the bathrooms are on the first floor while three of the sleeping areas are upstairs. However, this is a small inconvenience in this otherwise incredible house. So, pack your slippers (no shoes allowed) and prepare to love your stay in this awesome vacation home!

Summary: We rented this home for our family Thanksgiving holiday. It was an incredible home that easily accommodated all 40+ family members for dinner in the downstairs/rec hall. The upstairs rooms were also spacious. This home has some architecturally unique and interesting features. The lighting is warm, inviting and we all felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend this home as a wonderful place for family gatherings and weekend getaways!

Summary: The house was perfect for the amount of people and privacy. The rooms were separated enough for everyone to have privacy and quiet. There's a great swing out in the yard. Quiet, easy to get to, country location!!

Summary: My wife and I were having a wedding with a rural setting near this property and needed a place for a decent number of our friends to stay over the weekend of the actual wedding. We did a walk-through of this property with Scott in December and immediately loved the unique, cozy layout of the entire place. All our friends absolutely loved the property! Many wondered why we didn't just have the ceremony there, it was so picturesque. As for the actual stay, the property kept nice and cool during the hot days of June in Kansas. Some folks did not have any reception on their cell phones which made communication a bit difficult, but it's a very short trip into Tonganoxie where reception is pretty stable across the board. All-in-all, Scott was a pleasure to deal with and the property was spectacular for our purposes. Couldn't ask for much more than that!

Summary: I had an amazing experience at the house. If you want something just off the beaten path this place is perfect. There is plenty of room for groups or big families but it was also nice for my small party. All the basics are covered wonderfully. There is a great kitchen with every gadget or spice you might need, the bathrooms have plenty of towels and all the essentials, and the beds are great. The details really took the experience to the next level. There is a ton of great glass art light fixtures and all the stained concrete is awesome. Scott made the experience simple and easy. Thanks for such a great getaway!

Summary: We stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a great time. Scott was very accommodating and had the place ready for us when we arrived. The place is really unique and has so many cool things to see and do. It has great beds, great open areas and rooms that were well suited for our family. Close to golf and KC, yet far enough away to have a country feel. Only down side was no internet or cable but we knew that going in and were pretty well prepared for that. Also expected to see deer but did not. Possibly they were having their own Thanksgiving. Highly recommended.
