Good to Know:
PARKING
There is ample parking space on the property. During the winter months a four wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended because of the limited ability to clear snow on the property and the steep topography of the lot. There is also parking available lower down on the property marked as guest parking.
FIREWOOD
Firewood can be purchased at the general store located by the Shell Gas Station in downtown Nordegg. During the summer months firewood can also be purchased at the local Nordegg campground located just a few minutes from the cabin.
GROCERIES
Nordegg is a small town and unfortunately there aren't any full size grocery stores available in town. Having said that, essential groceries can be purchased at the Shell Gas Station convenience store.
OTHER THING TO NOTE
The cabin is run from a water tank and septic system, please conserve water in order to put less strain on the system. We would be so thankful.

Summary: When you first pull up to the property, its already stunning. We checked in with ease, the home was clean and well stocked with lots of attention to detail. The deck and views are stunning. We spent alot of the weekend around the firepit. I loved all the lights outside at night. Even the tree trunks lit up gave it a wondeful feeling.Our host was wonderful and answered promptly. Check in and check instructions were very clear. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: Absolutely stunning cabin! Attention to detail throughout, all comforts of home provided. This cabin is a show stopper, beautifully decorated, clean well organized. We loved our time here, the sauna with a view was so relaxing, tucked away in a peaceful forest - perfect place to unwind and recharge.

So we booked and since booking Michael had been nothing but helpful and answered any questions we might have had.During our stay we had noticed that there was a simple to follow book on house rules. Summary: This property is cozy and modern, well maintained and well stocked. The sauna and indoor wood fire place were big hits. Beds were very comfortable. Well located, close to hiking trails. Well treed in, which made for a lovely feeling of privacy and solitude. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had an amazing time. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and made good use of the sauna. The views from both were spectacular. The space inside Beaver Lodge was great for visiting and so well appointed. Loved the decor. My highlight was waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the most beautiful display of stars from the skylight in the loft.
