This newly refurbished detached property is a fantastic choice for those wishing to explore the beautiful coastline around this area, with the beach only 100 yards away. The cottage is situated very close to the shoreline within the twin villages of Cairnbulg and Inverallochy. Inside this cosy cottage you will find bright modern furnishings, with 2 very generous double bedrooms with ample storage for clothes, and a single bedroom. A bathroom with a bath and a stand alone shower facility. Within walking distance of the village is a beautiful marina still used by local fishermen. The beach stretches for three miles South towards St Combs and the other direction over to Fraserburgh. This stretch of coastline boasts golden sand and impressive sand dunes and has been described as one of the prettiest beaches in the country. Between them Inverallochy and Cairnbulg offers a beautiful and challenging links golf course and a convenience store with a post office, so whether your into activities like windsurfing or walking, this area will suit you.

Summary: The 3 bedroom cottage has a view of the sea it has everything you need with the owners leaving bread and milk. We will definitely stay again

Summary: Brenda sent us lots of useful information before we arrived - directions and check in instructions etc. On arrival, we found the cottage to be immaculately clean and the heating was on for us. Beds were made up and lots of towels available. There were numerous essentials in the cupboards and fresh bread and milk left for our arrival. The kitchen has everything needed for family cooking and dining. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower and had toiletries available. In the shed there were bikes of varying sizes and my 11 year old son was delighted to use one for our exploring of Cairnbulg. The cottage is beautiful, the garden is lovely and we managed to park two cars outside safely. The village is quiet and peaceful with a great shore line to explore, there’s a well stocked shop and newsagent nearby. We had a lovely time, we all loved the cottage and location and appreciated the generosity and kindness of the owners in letting us stay here.

Summary: The cottage was really spacious and the owner left some nice biscuits and cakes to welcome us. The facilities were excellent with lots of clean towels, everything you could need in the kitchen and a very handy washing machine, which, very helpfully, had even some tablets to use. The village is quiet and picturesque. There are good views from the bedroom windows and about 10 meters away from the sea. We had a really lovely week.

Summary: Beautiful cottage set in a lovely, peaceful and quiet village. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were brilliant. On hand if need be with any issues but we never had any reason to contact them. Plenty to do and the neighbours were very friendly. Definitely the best cottage we’ve booked so far. The cottage had all the mod cons you would expect. The local Chinese takeaway and Peters Ices are definitely worth a visit. Great food, stunning scenery and a fabulous break. Thank you x

Summary: Everything about the the Beachcomber is perfect, the quaint and friendly village, the nearby beach and scenery, the Scottish countryside and places to go and a lovely modern cottage with everything you could possibly need. The owners were really friendly and really care about their guests, going above board to ensure that I had a lovely time and a pleasant stay. Highly recommended and definitely on my shortlist for places to revisit when I get the chance.
