Sleeps 5. Peace and quiet. 2 level mountain Resort Cottage fully paved, No need for 4x4. 10 minutes to local restaurants, Antique shops and markets. Modern with upscales living to make your stay an experience. 2 comfortable foam mattress, 1 king and 1 Queen, and an additional queen sleeper sofa. Two full bathrooms , 1 with a walk in shower. Main level Washer and Dryer. Full side carport and pool table. 2 exterior covered seating areas, a marshmallow roasting fire pit and plenty wild life.

Sunshine Cottage offers accommodation up to 5 while sleeping comfortably. Enjoy the easy entrance and covered parking space. The main level offers a king bedroom with an oversized luxurious spa tub and walk in tiled glass shower. The main level also offers an open living and kitchen for your morning social coffee while planning your adventurous day out. While having easy access to an additional dinning room area, a bathroom along w a washer and dryer utility closet as well.
The lower level awaits with an awesome pool table, open sitting area, nice sized smart TV and a full size bathroom. You'll also find a queen bedroom for sleeping arrangements.
The door exiting the lower level opens to a patio area you can also enjoy while watching the wildlife w many deer crossing!

Complimentary Wi-Fi, Full size Washer/dryer, plenty of parking with parking 4 SUVs if needed. Hot tub and BBQ station.

Enjoy the beautiful widespan of the open lot space The Sunshine Cottage has to offer! This area offers a covered deck with patio sitting along w a nice BBQ station! Awaiting near this area is a nice flat yard w a firepit and sitting for 6.
Sunshine Cottage offers to accompany your pet "dog" during your stay with a $50 non-refundable pet fee per pet per stay w a max minimum of 2 dogs under the limit of 35lb each. For service pets the fee can be waived with proof of proper certification.
Each reservation includes free amenity access that the resort has to offer. Each guest that wishes to use this offer will simply need to make a friendly trip to the resort general store while showing appropriate ID that's presented on the assigned reservation. You will be granted a card for electronic use for acceptance of unlimited amenities during your stay!

Summary: We had a fun filled Thanksgiving family reunion at Sunshine Cottage/Modern Vibe Mtn Retreat! This property and host met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations! We had plenty of room for our family of 6 and never felt crowded. We cooked a large Thanksgiving meal in the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen and ate in the large dining room. Fun was had by all inside in the game room with games, large screen TV and pool table and outside at the firepit, hiking trails and watching the abundant wildlife including deer and several species of birds. The views from every window were breath-taking, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and equipped with supplies including linens, soaps, and a basket of toiletries. We hoped to enjoy the complimentary recreation center amenities such as indoor pool and basketball court, but we did not have the time this trip. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning and experiencing this location in the summer. Thank you for the family memories and the wonderful stay!

Summary: We stayed 4 months in Sunshine Cottage and loved it! It was clean and very well furnished for our long term stay. We never found anything we wished we had but didn't, everything was there. Throughout the stay our hosts made sure all was well and offered invaluable information when we had to plan for weather issues from hurricane Helene. There's a wonderful park just down the road that included a dog 'off lead' area and a pool. The river runs through the park and is a great place to tube in the warm months. Ellijay is a beautiful, quaint small town with friendly residents that were always happy to offer recommendations and help. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again whenever possible.

Summary: From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. My husband and I took four 18-22 year olds. The house was a fantastic setup for them to have their own space downstairs, while my husband and I enjoyed the upstairs. It was also great when we all came together and ate and played games. We went to Dahlonega one day, Blue Ridge one day, and Elijay one day. So yes it is a great location!! Every detail blew my mind!! We have stayed in many VRBO’s and my kids said this one was their favorite. I have to agree. Do not hesitate to book “Sunshine Cottage!”

Summary: This cabin is beautiful with all the comforts of home. A comfortable bed, luxurious bath towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and an owner who was very accommodating and responsive! The cabin is everything as described and more! We had a lovely stay and hope to visit again sometime!

Summary: The property was just as advertised. Everything we needed was on the main floor (kitchen, wash area, bedroom with king bed). We went downstairs once to enjoy the pool table. Seeing the deer early in the morning was wonderful. My only regret is that we did not have more time to enjoy the house.

Summary: The description of the property was spot on. Everything you needed was there. Although there were other properties around, it felt secluded. Communication with the property manager was great. They got us set up with proper paperwork for a easy check in and there was no problems throughout the stay.
