Summary: Great place to stay, within walking distance of several restaurants, beaches 5 mins drive or 20 min walk. Easy to get to main line train station(20 min drive) to get to Lisbon, Sintra or Setubal. Alfarim is an unspoiled non tourist village, very pleasant.

Summary: Really nice and spacious house with a pool providing heaps of fun for the kids. It is located in a quiet local village with all grocery shopping near by (supermarket, bakery, butcher and 3 (!) fish shops). Beaches for every taste are available in driving distance (e.g. Praia do Meco <5 minutes, Lagoa d'Albufeira <10 min. and Costa da Caparica about 30+ min.). In addition, Lisboa offers great sightseeing in less than 45 minutes as well. Big thanks for the warm welcome to Sofia!

Summary: The house is very nice and well equipped - it has everything you need for your holidays. The pool is good for a cool down and even for swimming, terrace is nice. Beaches and the Albufeira lagoon are within 2 to 4 km distance, other cities within 10 to 15 minutes driving. The only slightly disturbing factor were the roosters next door, that woke us up very early and were active at almost every time during the day.

Summary: A modern house in a rural village. Had all the equipment that we would have at home. Nice pool, private parking and privacy outdoors. Five minutes by car to the supernice Meco beach.

Summary: We are a family of 5 and spent one week at Sofia's villa in July 2019. Villa is modern, was very clean and well equipped, especially you can find everything you need in the kitchen. Meco Beach is 5 min drive from the villa which was perfect. The pool is very nice but is not warmed, so if it is not hot weather, it's too cold to swim. The villa is located at countryside, next to a farm, meaning that the nights are very noisy. There is s cock in the farm which starts to crow at 04.00 a.m. and continues every 15 minutes until the morning, and a dog barks after that. Sleeping without ear plugs is not possible. In addition, there is no air conditioning in the villa. This makes nights after hot days very uncomfortable to sleep, too.

Summary: The house is modern but very comfy! Lots of kitchen stuff, great pool, the house is very clean and Sofia knows how to make you feel at home! Alfarim is a lovely typical Portuguese village we really liked too! We will come again!
