Summary: What a lovely location it was perfect right down to the pīwakawaka, tūī and kererū greeting us!There was plenty of space for all 10 of us and more if wanted which was just ideal! We all enjoyed our stay and the kayaks were a bonus! We found it to be the perfect Aotearoa slice of paradise. Although there were a couple of points which put a dampener on our stay one being we had to do cleaning of benches / surfaces/ window sills and floor’s when we arrived which is disappointing. When you have all travelled from far away this is the last thing you want to do on arrival! Also a cleaning fee is charged in your payment so one would expect it would be fully completed to a satisfactory standard. Also our American whānau wanted to bbq one night and the gas bottle waa empty. We made several enquires about this to the owner Jennifer but did not receive a response. Again it was disappointing as up until that point she had been very responsive and accomodating with check in and check out times. If these annoyances hadn’t occurred it would have been a 5 star rating!

Summary: This is a good place for a family holiday with young kids. There are loads of indoors and outdoors space. The beach is a lovely sandy beach. Love watching the birds, esp, the Wood pigeons. The bonus is having our dog, Tyson, with us. Property is fully fenced so very dog friendly.

Summary: We were a group of 10 celebrating a birthday. The house is perfect for large groups, upstairs, downstairs, plenty of room if you just want a quiet hour or so to yourself. Beautiful bird life, trees, beach. We would definitely go back again.
