Negative: 1) The rooms need modern upgrades. 2) Our room was located next to loud noise of engines. 3) We were locked out of our room before 11 am with our luggage inside. 4) man said he "didn't know what happened" - no apologies.

Positive: The location was great. The pool and pool bar were lovely with a great view of the Navesink River. Every single Molly Pitcher Inn staff member was absolutely beyond lovely - truly kind, friendly, thoughtful, helpful, gracious; an honestly delightful staff.
Negative: There were dirty socks on the floor in our room that weren’t ours…ick. The room was unexpectedly tiny (like REALLY tiny). The bathroom door didn’t close all the way. The ice/soda vending machine space was filthy. And out of order. The view out our window…was of the aging and unclean roof of the Molly Pitcher - there must be a way to clean up or cover up some of that refuse and rust.
Summary: Lovely staff, beautiful pool…not going to pay that much to stay here again.

Positive: Location was convenient to the concert we attended, and view from main area very nice on the river.
Negative: The place is old needs updating. The cost of room was not worth it. Very dark and dreary and we were on lower level with no view. The room smelled musty.

Positive: Great location, nice pool. Pretty and elegant hotel.
Negative: Our room was literally in the basement. We had a half a window at top of wall. Literally every other room at the hotel had a balcony or terrace with a nice view. So disappointing. Got a room with 1 king, when reserved a room with 2 queens. TV did not work, we had to call several times for someone to fix it. Was told at restaurant that they were out of something basic on several occasions.
