Summary: This is a lovely spot with beautiful views, great location, nice pool and other outdoor space. Because of illness we were not able to take advantage of much, but appreciated Maria’s responsiveness.

Summary: The house was very cosy with all furnished and decorated details. Enough space, very good kitchen. View towards Granada. Terrace best to relax an chill with morning sun. Swimming pool clean ( just a bit cool water, but that’s normal for March - I tried anyway after a long morning run into the hilly mountains). Communication was best all the time. Will recommend to anybody who is visiting Granada.

Summary: What an accommodation! We've stayed here with our family for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time. The house is old but beautiful and charming. The views are incredible. The area is calm, you only hear the birds singing. The pool is refreshing on sunny days. The communication with the host, Antonio was perfect. Take into account that you need a car to get to other destinations! The nearby nature trail 'Los Cahorros' is definitely a must go place. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with your family, this is definitely a place I recommend.

Summary: The house was great, plenty of room for 7 of us. We really liked the mountain setting and was handy for the Cahorros walk, though really need a car given location.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this very spacious house high on the upper reaches of Monachil (fantastic views). Being December, we were not able to take advantage of the pool (we would definitely return in the summer), but there was plenty of firewood for the chimney. We had a vehicle so there was no problem accessing Granada, the Alhambra, the Nevada mall, and Nerja.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated house. The kitchen has all you need for cooking; touristic information is present. Nights are really quiet. House and garden are very clean. At the end of the street you can start a walk into the Sierra Nevada natural park, spectacular vieuws! A local supermarket nearby (Coviran) offers basic quality food (cheese! ham! etc.) and it's owner is more than ready to inspire you concerning local must sees. We surely recommend this house.

Summary: Very much as I expected it to be, quite stunning. Fantastic views (from the balconies) over the city, and could look up the mountain as well. Nice rooms with plenty of space and really nice garden and pool area. Only had 2 problems, one was that all of the sudden in the middle of the night the alarm went off. We called the landlord and he fixed it. It then happen again, which was very unpleasant but it was fixed again and did not happen again after this. Luckily it wasnt very loud. Furthermore the oven wasnt working and never got fixed during our stay but after we found out it wasnt much of an issue was we just planned not to use it. Some times you see pictures of a really nice place and when you then arrive it turns out completely different. This is not one of thoose places at all! If you like to live on the edge of town/just outside/a bit secluded with nice views and all the comfort you can imagine, this is definitely it for you. All of our family loved it!

Summary: "Simply, this is a great house. It is a home more than a holiday house. It is full of personal items as well as many thoughtful inclusions and decoration decisions designed to enhance the occupants’ stay. It was an indulgence for only two of us. The house is more designed for a family or two couples. It has all you need including the pool in summer. It has excellent outdoor space; there are four outdoor locations where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. My favourite was the patio just outside the sitting room. We could have rented a small apartment in Granada but chose this house outside the city. So to visit The Alhambra and then drive ‘home’, sit on my patio with my wine and gaze at the mountains, I can’t think of a better day. The house is several kilometers up a hill. The views are fantastic. You are surrounded by mountains on two sides. To the west you can see ‘forever’; you can see The Alhambra and Granada itself and beyond. However, the views come at a small price. You are not going to walk to anywhere from here. You must have a car. We drove to Granada once (took 25 minutes; because of city traffic and road works it was not an easy drive; the Sat Nav was a big help) and to the Alhambra (easy drive). We drove to the coast and to the Sierra Nevadas. It was easy access to the motorway. But then again you do not have to go anywhere to enjoy this house and its location. A nice sunny day by the pool would be just fine. To the owners: I sense when we arrived you really wanted us to enjoy our stay. Thank you, we did."

Summary: "Very nice house, close to Granada (with the car 15 minutes to the center) and very quiet. In a typical Spanish village faraway from the tourists. Marvelous sights on the Sieraa Nevada (which is just around the corner). Great house, very well kept, with a very nice garden and a nice swimming pool. Owners are very friendly. If you want to stay close to Granada and be able to do some sightseeing in Andalousia, just rent it!!"
