Positive: A very beautiful building, carefully renovated, but far from places where tourists are, from the restaurants, so you definitely spend time in the hotel. An authentic abbey where monks once lived, you can find many old elements here, e.g. a confessional. Beautiful swimming pool, amazingly situated on a cliff, good restaurant, spa.
Negative: The pool is beautiful and in an amazing location, but during the day it is full of seagulls bathing in it, which was both nice and uncomfortable for the people, the birds were large, they are not afraid of people, and of course there is the question of the cleanliness of the water. which I will skip. The selection of breakfast dishes is quite modest, everything was a la carte, not for everyone. The room is quite spacious, but since the interiors are former cells, you can imagine how monks lived here. The spa looks amazing in the photos, but spa inside was quite average in my opinion, they have an outdoor bed, but the outside space itself was also not as stunning as we experiences in some Four Seasons Resorts. It is definitely worth coming here if you are looking for a place that is far from noisy touristic places, an authentic abbey and a nicely located swimming pool, but I don't think we will come back, please forgive us, it wasn't for us, although the views from the room window were really amazing and unforgettable...
