Positive: We want to thank Ms. Shahed receptionist, she was always assisting us and guide us. Housekeeping is very good. Landscaping is nice and clean The pool is nice although crowded. Snacks (afternoon) were nice and so was the rice cream.

Negative: The room has a strange smell if AC is not on, also no Soundproofing and we could hear our next door guests making love. The other guests near our room were even more crazy and on the first day of our stay, at 1:00 after midnight they started screaming and opening music so loudly, they were drunk and continued doing this till 3:30 am. We complained at the reception and they spoke to them to stop it. The next day, at the same time again screaming dancing, and high music, we couldn't sleep at all. For the food, as it is an all inclusive booking, the quality is poor, no items with even you can know its not international or Turkish!! It was just something we couldn't understand. We felt like we were eating like prisoners, bread like chewing gum, Small staff of service are nice and always smile, their supervisor was ignoring us and my husband was doing the table clearance from dishes and the supervisor saw him with no offer to help!! 😕 We book the hotel case it is a resort with a beach, and we had the shock of our lives that the hotel is not beach front, it was not mentioned by the hotel or booking.com, that the beach is out of the hotel, we needed to walked through shopping area, cut the street ( which has cars) and to pass through a public garden (government) wearing our swimming suites, and then we walked to the beach which has the hotel Sun beds and no food , no bar, no drinks, just the sun beds, with other government area sunbeds alongside the beach with no privacy, other local people coming to swim. The beach is full of Stones and very hard to walk into the sea, 😔 we tried, and then we used the jet ski which was full of other guests that are public and not our hotel guests. We could not find the shower or changing rooms, my husband was searching till he found a shower which was far away, and the water was so cold. We had two bottles of water which became so hot that we couldn't drink.

Positive: My husband and I had an amazing time at The Monk Hotel for his birthday. The service was outstanding from everyone, Yasmin and all the front desk staff the best bartenders, a special thanks to M who went above and beyond for us. Even though the hotel has everything you could possibly need the location is ideal, with shops, bars and the beach all nearby they also have a shuttle that goes to parties, Ola who does their entertainment will also make sure you get there and back safely. We also loved how many activities and excursions were available just outside the hotel including water sports. The scenery is so beautiful and taking pictures in front of the mountains wow!!!! Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to return.
