Positive: the owners are amazing and do really a lot to take care of the guests

Negative: its quite far from the town and the lifts but that was well known before the booking, it just might get tough to get out of there after 90cm dump over night. Other than that the owners would do everything for their guest, really amazing services from them

Positive: OUr hosts provided an authentic Japanese experience in the comfort of their very personalized traditional lodge. We chose the Japanese room and loved the tatami mats and big duvets.

Positive: The room was nice and the dining area was really nice. Tons of board games for us and our family really enjoyed it.

Negative: Our room had extremely squeaky boards. So walking around would wake up my family. We were also concerned it would wake up the guests under us. The walk back from town is a hike, but not too bad for our family of 4. Going solo is a bit scary since the roads aren’t well lit. The husband is the driver and is extremely punctual. Not the friendliest but the wife is super super sweet so makes up for it.

Summary: Overall good stay. No complaints!

Positive: Lovely staff, homely stay with clean facilities. Had the option to buy drinks and snacks as well as additional dinner or breakfast for a small cost. They also drop you to a ski resort of choice in the morning and pick you up in the afternoon offering discounted lift tickets.

Negative: Curfew. They have an 11pm lockout curfew which was not advertised anywhere which if your planing to go out drinking could leave you in a jam (this should be advertised). And although you can get a lift into town or resorts at allotted times. If you need to walk up to the town it is a 25min uphill walk. Walking back is fine however
