Positive: A peaceful, friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and good food at the restaurant. Free parking and rooms are pet friendly. Quite a drive from Durbuy.

Negative: The hotel is a little far from any other facilities, cafes, shops etc so once there we decided to eat at the property. The food was pretty good. However although the hotel allows dogs we weren’t allowed to take her into the restaurant or bar even though we were the only guests eating and it was wet so we couldn’t sit outside. I would have thought it possible to designate a small area for those guests with dogs as the rooms were too small to really use for this. We had to leave our dog in the car while we ate. The main part of the hotel has the aesthetic of a 80’s comprehensive school rather than a rural retreat which sits rather oddly with the new tree lodges in the grounds.

Positive: The room is super good and clean. The area surrounding is so pretty. Its the second time i'm staying in this hotel and for sure not the last time. It's actually my favorite hotel in Belgium.

Positive: - The room we booked was awesome: it had a jacuzzi, a sauna and a great walk-in shower. Although we only stayed for one night, it was truly memorable; - Breakfast was great. It was very diversified and had many nice choices. It was hard to decide what to eat! - Location is great , in the middle of nature.

Negative: - Altough the restaurant is nice and looks pretty good, the service was quite bad. We waited for our order for a very long time, just to find out that the waiter actually forgot to forward our order to the cook. When we finally ordered (the duck breast), we were served with an even greater delay something else ( chicken), while the waiter was trying to convince us that it is actually duck breast. - The self check-in procedure is quite confusing. We were not able to receive the room key, until we contacted a member of the staff.

Summary: Very nice location - the room with a sauna is pretty great!

Positive: Everything. As always the first impression is most important and the last at the reception set the bar high. She also helped me get rid of a tick next day!

Negative: It was a hot weekend and the room was very hot during the night. Adding air conditioning should be considered.
