Welcome to the Rainey House! Great location in Southwest Jacksonville - convenient to Jacksonville, NAS Jax and area Golf Courses.
We recently changed our furnishings and added a few new amenities and new flooring in the Florida Room and Bedrooms! Our cozy living area is great to unwind after your long day of adventures - just off the full kitchen and dining areas. Full Kitchen including dishwasher, service for 6, pots, pans, toaster, grill tools, coffee maker and a moveable butcher block serving cart to assist with meal prep! Washer/Dryer available for your use. Two bikes with locks are also included.
We are Electric/Hybrid Car Charger Friendly! We have an Lectron NEMA 6-20 Level 2 EV Charger - 240V 16 Amp in our garage for your use. Our Level 2 charging cable will offer you 3x the charging speed in comparison to your car’s original charger. Boosting 240V and up to 16A, it provides a rapid charging rate of 3.86kw/hour, which equates to approximately 11 miles per hour of charge.
Our Florida Room is a great place to relax and play some games or read a book! We have a table-top Pac Man game - maybe a little competition for highest score!?
Three bedrooms - two with queen size beds and one with two twin beds. There are two Smart TV's - one in the living area and the other in the Owner's Suite. Bring your acct info for accessing your favorite programming - or watch ROKU FREE channels or enjoy programming on the many free apps that are available.
Pet Friendly up to 25 lbs. Max 2. Pets must be disclosed in advance - there is a fee per pet.

Summary: It was fine and we chose it for the location factor. There were only 4 towels provided for the house despite the listing claiming it sleeps 6. Nothing beyond the basics was covered. Once you look in the corner or at doors, you can see where the cleaners overlook. The window covers were again just bear basics and do not block out the street lights in the front yard. The front wall is entirely window with missing blinds. There are signs posted around the house about additional maintenance charges or furniture repositioning fees indicating the owners are seeking additional up charges. Commutation is not done through the listing site, the outsource to a third party which sends information to your email - their emails do not contain any keywords to connect to the booking so information is hard to find.

Summary: I was in Florida on business for two weeks and looking for a home close to Thrasher-Horne center because I had to be there at 6 am each day. This property was perfectly located and allowed me to drive less than six minutes to get there. The home is older, but was very clean. There were plenty of linens, and a working washer dryer. Kitchen was adequately stocked with appliances, spices and serving ware. The living room furniture and the bed were comfortable and also clean.

Summary: Bart and Sue were great. They immediately responded to our needs during our stay. The property is a bit run down and outdated. The carpet in the bedrooms and sunroom are dirty and stained up. The owner needs to invest some money into updating this property
