Positive: My family stayed at the Moonrise Lodge for three nights in early August. It was an impromptu trip, planned in only a couple of days, and we feel lucky that this house was available because it was perfect for us. The owners are super responsive, answering questions quickly and thoughtfully. We never met them in person, but were greeted with a nice note and a bag of locally ground coffee…what a nice touch 😊 The house is large, clean, and well-equipped. It is surrounded by trees, well maintained, and set away from other homes. Kitchen is large and has everything you could possibly need. Impressive coffee station for all those coffee drinkers out there. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, with comfy beds and ample towels, sample-size toiletries, and toilet paper. Ceiling fans are a plus. Nice sofas in the family room with a giant TV and plenty of space to move around. Fully equipped laundry room with washer and dryer. Wifi worked great and streaming service is available for movies. To top things off, there is a huge game room with a ping-pong table and arcade games. One of the reasons we chose this space is because it gives that homey vibe without being cluttered. The photos in the listing are accurate. Outside, there is ample space for activities, BBQ, and running around the (fenced) yard if you have kids. There is a fire pit surrounded by chairs, a jacuzzi (beach towels provided), and a large deck with a table for outside meals. The setting is perfect for some quiet family time and we are happy to recommend Moonrise Lodge!

Positive: Our hosts were extremely communicative. The house was clean, big, and gorgeous. Very helpful information located throughout the house. A wonderful bathtub for kids or adults that need some peace. Beds were very comfortable. Best of all, the house is in a beautiful forest with a scenic drive. It is the perfect vacation home. A code was provided to make entering the house very easy. There was no hassle at all to enter the house. The door has a very intuitive code system. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Positive: Hosts were very helpful and provided everything. The location is excellent! Rooms were spacious, clean and well organised. We totally enjoyed our stay at the house. Kids loved the game room. We would love to return and stay at the house again. Strongly recommend to others!
