Summary: Moons and Loons was the perfect place for our girls getaway. We’re planning on returning with our spouses next summer. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. Very convenient to Lake Placid. Five stars all the way around.

Summary: We have stayed at Moons and Loons twice — Aug 2020 and July 2022. The property is wonderful. We spent a lot of time in/on the water in the provided kayaks and SUPs. Nice general store 2 miles away in Black Brook. Easy and scenic 30-40 min drive to Lake Placid or the Adirondack Loj. Would certainly stay again.

Summary: This property is gorgeous. There are great views of the lake from the patio, yard, and living room. We were really pleased with the amount of seating inside and out. We’re a family of five aged 19 to 56. We had plenty of space and we were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit and using the canoe and kayaks. We would definitely love to visit again.
