Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay in Kathy's cottage. The location was perfect, we could see the river right from the yard, and the property is within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shops, the riverside parks and the boat museum. The property is clean and nicely appointed. The furnishings were charming and we enjoyed the porch with the umbrella table. The kitchen is stocked with the necessary utensils, dishes and pots. Kathy is a warm and welcoming host who gave us our privacy. We would definitely return!

Summary: Great little cottage located within easy walking distance to everything in Clayton. Beautiful sunset views from the pier just a block away and lovely views of bunnies hopping about in the garden from the kitchen window! Host is warm and welcoming. We hope to be back!

Summary: Morning Star Cottage was just what we needed for a long term stay. I have to say that the bathtub was wonderful! The location is perfect being an easy walk to the Antique Wooden Boat Museum and downtown Clayton. Our host was attentive to just the right degree. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!
