Positive: It was a clean nicely furnished hotel. It was in a very quiet location in a small very quiet village, with virtually no shops - pleasant restaurant but it was closed during the day except for coffee and cake
Negative: No elevator and we were on second floor - not so good when you’re 70 with luggage. I didn’t care much for the breakfast because the choice wasn’t to my taste
Summary: Very pleasant hotel, friendly staff, good food.

Positive: Nice, big room, comfy bed and good breakfast. A kettle and fridge in the room. Quiet and lovely vineyard views from the balcony. Good shower. Close to a good value, unpretentious pub/eatery in the very centre of the village - a rarity in these tourist hotspots.
Negative: Pillows were very soft and unsupportive. Rather, strange, nominal parking charge for the hotel car park.

Positive: Just everything. This is 100% value. Mega tidy rooms, sustainable thinking, great bed. Great local wines available and such a quality breakfast. Sauna available etc. And very warm service.

Positive: Very nice location, very quiet and lovely. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Nice area to have hikes and to relax.
Negative: Unfortunately the sauna closes at 9 and when asked about it at 8 the staff was not extremely helpful.

Positive: The property is really nice - located in a very quaint town that doesn't have a lot more than wineyards and wines. The property now has an extension - and we stayed in one of those - across the street. That was right next to the parking lot - so sometimes a bit noisy. The room was relatively basic - and even though I stayed for two nights - they offered no cleaning service - something I would have expected. The restaurant is nice - but quite expensive - and there are very limited food options in the town. But plenty of great wineries in the area - and it's a good one day stop to enjoy the rustic living before moving on to either Trier or Cocham.
Negative: The room location across the street - and not in the main building. No cleaning service daily. The jacuzzi wasn't working - they were cleaning it up - and then it needed 24 hours to get warm again - which was weird.
Summary: Cute property in the middle of nowhere - surrounded by vineyards.

Negative: The evening meal in the restaurant was superb although we were only able to get a table at a time dictated in advance by the hotel. Breakfast only commences at 0800 which was far too late in the morning for us, no options for early breakfast or checkout.
