Positive: This is a great setting right next to the weir and the mill. Our rooms were in the old mill building itself. We had 2 suites and a superior king and the quality of the rooms was amazing. I had been looking forward to staying here and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and the onsite restaurant was good. Breakfast was very good. I would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the accommodations more. Very convenient for Giverny and Monet's house and garden.
Negative: It was a little confusing upon first arrival as I could not initially find reception when parking for the first time. We were not the only ones to find this, too. Parking was a little far from the rooms, but we were able to park closer on arrival to unload and repack the car when leaving.
Summary: Peaceful setting, excellent accommodations, food and convenient to Giverny.

Positive: Serine and quiet location . Beautiful old buildings. Although the menu was basic, the food was very nice, and the restaurant pleasant as was the staff.
Negative: Not sure if my message was taken into consideration, I requested twin beds and we got a double. To top it up we were given a room on the thirty floor. My friend and I are 76 yrs old and although we’re fairly fit, the stairs taking us to our room made it difficult after a full day of visiting. (Just wondering if the information given when signing up with booking.com eg. age of customers, is available to the hosts). I did bring it to the attention at reception and they did offer another room. We declined as we had already unpacked our bags.
Summary: We did enjoy our stay despite the few hiccups .

Negative: Bath and shower (in bath) without shower screen / curtain. Badly designed sink. Breakfast was basic.

Negative: Food was very ordinary, th restaurant and, particularly the bar were cold and cheerless. Spa on a platform high above the river which obscured the view if you were not in the Spa.
