Summary: Air conditioner did not work very well. Sofa was stained. Shower had an extremely slow drain.

Summary: We were in town for Ironman Lake Placid. This place was perfect. We loved how many places were walking distance. It was great as far as getting to the race in the morning. The staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the room. It was absolutely stunning there. Very comfortable stay. Loved the fire pit and Adirondack chairs around it. We would stay here again!

Summary: It was super quiet and very clean, but I think there were only 2 rooms rented on the night I was there so I can't tell when it's packed. The bed was comfy, the room was clean.. not much to say, it was perfect for a one night stay, and I could have stayed a couple of nights there without issues. Hotels.com seems to be pressuring people to book fast by displaying the wrong number of available rooms though. One advice: shop around.

Summary: Quiet little hotel with charm around 20 or so minutes from Lake Placid. The staff is very nice and worked hard to plow with all the snow we had. I appreciated the electric fireplace in my room to help make it toasty.
