Summary: We stayed in this cabin back in August. It was our 2nd stay and it was just as awesome as the first. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to sit around the fire pit. It rained 2 of the nights we stayed so we played board games and watched movies on the big screen tv. As a busy family we don't get to do that very often. Robert, Yann, and Michelle took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing trip. Unfortunately our dog got sick so we had to leave a day early. Robert texted me to see if our stay was ok and ask about the dog - he is fine. Since we had to leave early, there were a couple of things we did not get to do so we definitely want to go back. When we do, we will only stay here!

Summary: It was ok for a couple of guys fishing but floors were squishy in many places. Wi fi was almost nonexistent. Fire pit didn’t match the picture. Very dated “cabin” was actually an old mobile home. Pricey for what it was.

Summary: The location of this property was perfect for our planned activities and provided everything we needed to enjoy our time in the Lake Placid area. The new owners are wonderful and communicated with us throughout our time. They are also working hard in updating all the amenities but everything we needed was just fine. We would definitely recommend the Wilderness Inn and look forward to having another opportunity to visit in the future.

Summary: My sisters and I rented a cabin for a couple of nights. This was not a pleasure trip~i had driven all the way from Florida, 1800+ miles, to bury our eldest sister. We had booked the Aspen in the beginning, but there were issues with the heater. I called our host, Yann, who quickly contacted the onsite manager, Michelle. Michelle was amazing. She had another cabin to put us in, and she put our needs first, cleaned Spruce (which actually suited us better than Aspen!), and got us moved in quickly. The cabin was wonderful, neat as a pin and comfortable. There's a small grocery store only a couple of miles from the cabins, which was super convenient. All in all it was a great stay, albeit for a sad time. Yann and Michelle made it so much better. I'd definitely book here again.
