Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1,800 Square foot single level home is located in the Animas Valley just 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Durango and 20 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort to the north.
The new home features numerous amenities including large screen TV with cable and gas fireplace in the Main Living Space along with a fully stocked kitchen opens to the living and dining spaces. There is also a hiking trail across CR 203. There is a covered deck off the Kitchen with a BBQ grill and dining table.
The newly renovated Durango Hot Springs is just a 1/2 mile from the home and Dalton Ranch Golf Course along with PJs Market and a great liquor store are just across highway 550 a mile from the house.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Overall our experience was great! A couple things the house should have or needs to address:1. There is no oven pan or pizza pan2. A shelf in the master shower would be nice for shampoo, etc..3. The branch hook shelf in the non-master bathroom stabs you in the head, it needs to go!4. The grass was not mowed, it was hard to pick up our dog poop. 5. The outdoor furniture was filthy and lots of spider webs on both decks.If you are bringing your furry friends, beware of the dogs directly behind you. They try to attack your dog through the fence. (two frenchy's and an american bull dog) They were outside 24/7 and as soon as you let your dog out, they go into attack mode!

Reviewer Comments: House was in an excellent location. 20 miles from purgatory, 12 miles from Durango and just down the street to the hot springs. Was nice to have garage parking but the yard was small and this neighborhood is packed like a can of sardines. Met the neighbors on two sides, nice folks but we would’ve preferred a bit more remote location. One concern was evidence of water damage/mold in the master bedroom vaulted ceiling area. Been a contractor for 30 years but not sure what’s going on there? Booking company was great to deal with. We added an extra night and I was surprised to get someone on the phone at 930pm to handle that. We did not bring attention to the stains in the ceiling and wall in the MB to the management company so would be unfair to say they wouldn’t have handled it. It was our last evenings stay when we recognized it. Also, side note, there was supposed to be a garbage can on site. There was not so we were told to leave our bags in the garage. We would definitely book with this company again. We had a great time, probably could’ve gotten something cheaper if we didn’t book so close to spring break but that was our fault. Property was on the high side of cost for what you get. Nice place but spring break prices are high. No real extras at this property like hot tub or ping pong, etc. Also was pretty basic on furniture. Not much there. No major complaints or issues though. Had a great trip.
