Mountain retreat says it all! Our A-frame home is a place where we disconnect. From the deck, you can enjoy the sounds of the Eastbranch River, many birds, and the peace and quiet of the mountains. We see quite a bit of wildlife including bear, turkey, fox, an occasional deer or moose, and at night we hear owls a lot. Many nights have been spent outside enjoying time with friends and family by the fire pit. Our home is designed for the outdoor enthusiast in mind.. Comfortable and casual, clean and inviting. Great front entry to store all your gear, which opens into a galley style kitchen. It's small but well stocked so you'll only really need to bring food. Spices, basic ingredients, and plenty of cookware are there for you to use. The main living area has a sofa, 2 leather chairs, and plenty of space for kicking your feet up and enjoying the gas fireplace after a fun day out. There is a dining table that seats 4 comfortably which looks out to Mt Kearsarge and Mt Surprise in the winter (the sun rises from this direction and is quite beautiful). The bathroom is on the main level as well. As with most A-frames, there is access to the upstairs by way of the ladder type stairs. Kids love it, however it isn't for everyone. Upstairs there are two bedrooms... one bedroom with a queen bed and the other with 2 twins. Both are small but very comfortable with tempurpedic mattresses and luxurious bedding.

Summary: We are a family that does a ton of travel and I have to admit, this one was special! Felt like a house right out of a fairy tale. Comfortable, clean, and super cute. Outdoor shower was fun. We did a lot of exploring in the area and were happy to drive back to this house every night for a cozy dinner and a glass of wine before calling it a night. Our kids are still talking about the "attic". The owner was super helpful and always responsive. Thanks for a great experience!

Summary: My kids call this “The Little Perfect Lodge”! We have stayed multiple times and it is the cleanest, most comfortable home we have stayed in. No clutter, smells wonderful, has ample storage. The photos speak for themselves and Debbie is incredibly easy to communicate with. Not much more to say than “Perfect”

Summary: It is nice. The neighbors are nice, the cabin is nice, and everything you need is provided. We had some minor hiccups with the electronics, but it was all cleared up quickly. The only drawback (on our trip) was the snow. It is why we came (skiing), but I didn't expect to shovel as much as I did. Between that and the skiing I was pretty beat. But overall, it was nice.

Summary: We had a really nice stay at this adorable little A frame. The place is very clean, well stocked with everything you may need just as stated, it's so nice and quiet, and Debbie was absolutely wonderful to communicate with. There is also so much to do do in the area, and Debbie has some great suggestions all listed for us as we arrived. Would definitely recommend for a great little getaway.
