Our mountain home is now ready to rent. Its features include three bedrooms(two queen beds, two twins), and three bathrooms, each with tub/shower combinations. It is located in a quiet area with seasonal mountain views. The main floor level has solid oak hardwood floors, and soaring tongue and groove pine ceilings. This level features an open great room, a dining room, a stacked rock gas fireplace, a 42 inch flat-scree TV, a VCR/DVD, a fully-equipped kitchen with solid surface countertops, maple cabinets, one bedroom, a large walk-in pantry and a full bath. This floor leads to a large covered deck with a seasonal view of the lake and a year-round view of the mountains.
The upper level has a master suite with solid oak hardwood floors, a television. The master offers a fantastic seasonal view of the lake and a year-round view of the mountains. The master bedroom also has a full bath and a large walk-in closet.
The lower level has a large bedroom with twin beds, a furnished living room with a television, a full bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer, and a deck.
We have wireless internet service in the house.
Our home is located in Bear Paw, which is the only development on gorgeous Lake Hiwassee in the mountains of southwestern North Carolina. Lake Hiwassee is only five to ten minutes walking distance from our home. Lake Hiwassee is an 178-mile long mountain lake that offers casual fishing, boating, and swimming. There is also a shared swimming pool(open from Memorial Day through Labor Day), a marina that rents boats, a tennis court, a basketball court, a child's playground, and a child's fishing pond. A secured entrance gate adds to the feeling of peace and serenity pervading Bear Paw.
There is a new gambling casino with a bowling alley in the town of Murphy.

Summary: We had a great time at this property. Lots of space and quiet area. Some steep hills getting in but normal for the area.

Summary: Stayed here for a weekend while riding motorcycles in the area. 3 of us and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen had all the necessities. FIreplace was nice. Would stay again.

Summary: It was a well built older home. Great set up for 2 couples and 2 kids. Master bed was comfortable but not first floor bed. I think when we arrived it hadn’t been rented for a bit. Toilets needed cleaned up. Long black hair in first floor tub. But all in all pretty nice set up for a getaway in Murphy.

Summary: We had a fabulous time! Communications with owner both before and during were great -very responsive!! Pictures on VRBO were spot on. We got exactly what we paid for and I will say the view was beautiful. Mountains in the back and lake down below! GREAT JB KEN!!!
