The High Country Escape is a 4BR/5.5BA three-level luxury home in the upscale, gated Yonahlossee mountain resort community. Yonahlossee is an exclusive gated resort community only 5 miles from Boone and from Blowing Rock! Gated security, walking and hiking trails, picnic areas, an indoor swimming pool with a tanning deck, and an indoor fitness center are all available for you to enjoy as a guest at High Country Escape!
Paved driveway and level parking, along with an attached 2-car garage, make access and parking for up to 4 vehicles easy. Three steps up and into the front door on the main level make entry easy as well. The main floor offers a great room with vaulted ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a huge HD Smart TV, and comfy leather furniture. The adjacent dining area provides a banquet-style high-top table that seats 8 to 9 guests, plus two bar stool seats at the kitchen bar top for a total of up to 11 dining seats. The kitchen features stainless appliances and granite countertops with ample cabinetry and supplies to prepare and serve meals to large groups. Outside of the great room and dining area is an expansive open-air rear deck with a gas grill, an outdoor dining table that seats 8 guests, and plenty of comfy outdoor lounge seating. There is also a wood-burning fire bowl with more seating for those chilly nights. A laundry closet with a washer and dryer and a half bath/powder room are both centrally located on the main level, near the interior door going from the house into the two-car attached garage.
The primary master bedroom suite is on the main floor. It has a King bed, an HD Smart TV, and glass doors leading to a screened porch. The master suite also provides a walk-in closet and a private ensuite master bathroom with his and hers vanity sinks, a make-up station, and a large custom tile walk-in shower.
The lower level features a large game room with a second fireplace, an HD Smart TV, a bar with a fridge, a pool table, a Multicade arcade machine, a poker table, a dartboard, and more! The adjacent den provides another cozy living area with comfy leather sofas, one of which opens to a Queen sleeper. The den can also serve as a sleeping area, with the Queen sleeper sofa and an adjacent full bathroom with tub and shower, also accessible from the main hallway. There is a large covered deck off the game room with a step-down open-air hot tub platform. Finally, on the lower level is a huge bedroom suite with a King bed, Twin-over-Full bunk bed, HD Smart TV, and private ensuite full bathroom.
The upstairs features two more bedroom suites. A large King bedroom suite offers an HD Smart TV and sitting area, a walk-in closet, and a private ensuite full bathroom. The second upper-level suite provides two Queen beds, HD Smart TV, and a full ensuite bathroom.
Multi-zoned Central Heat and Air Conditioning assure year-round comfort. High-speed WiFi internet and 6 HD Smart TVs with digital cable programming keep guests tuned in and connected to the rest of the world. Dogs are allowed, two (2) maximum per reservation, and standard pet fees apply. There is a fenced yard for your dogs to stretch their legs and a large dog crate for your use as well. Board games and puzzles, corn hole, and many other fun and entertaining things make the guest experience more fun. Seasonal winter mountain views begin to open up as the October leaf season comes to a close, adding views to the myriad of features and amenities which High Country Escape boasts. The attached 2-car garage and washer/dryer offer additional convenient features that guests are sure to enjoy. Gated security, safe walking and hiking trails, picnic areas, an indoor pool, and a fitness center are all added amenities within the gates of Yonahlossee.
*The owner does have two exterior cameras on the property. One is on the lower rear of the house, pointing away from the home. One is on the front of the house and monitors the front door and front parking area.
