Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off we were asked to check in one hour later due to the storm that had just come through, this made sense but was not ideal. We liked the location and the shuttle to was easy to get to from the property. However, we experienced a 24 hour power outage with no updates on power from the rental company. We were only able to locate one small flashlight in the unit and one that we had brought for six people. It was unclear when the power would go on and no one kept in contact with us about the status. It made it difficult to cook, shower and stay warm and definitely effected our vacation in a BIG way. We had no way to heat the unit and it was very cold. The house instructions said to use a humidifier to help with the dry air but we were not able to find it. The air was so dry when using the fire place it made it very hard to sleep. We were not able to locate the garbage disposal switch after looking in all the obvious and not obvious spaces so we had to look at a gross sink when running the dishwasher and doing dishes. We were trying our best to vacate the property on time at 10:00am and we were not quite out the door when at 10:04am the cleaners showed up and were very rude about giving us 15 more minutes to pack the truck. Since we had to check in an hour later on Monday it should of been common courtesy to have an extra hour (or at least 20 minutes) on Friday at check out. Due to the lack of communication from the rental company about the power outage I will avoid using Ready 4 Rentals properties in the future. It would have been nice if someone could of checked in on us and offered some candles or another flashlight or to see if we needed something to help us enjoy our stay.
