Mountain villa of 260m2 recent (2015) with a dominant view of the valley, full of charm and tastefully decorated with 4 bedrooms for up to 10 people.
Come relax with your family or friends in a green and very quiet in the middle of a wooded property of 7 hectares crossed by streams, a lily pond at the foot of the balloon of Alsace. The property dominates the valley of the Moselle and the village of St Maurice, giving you a very clear view and no neighbors within 1km!
The villa has all the modern comforts to accommodate up to 10 people in excellent conditions; American kitchen open to the living room and fully equipped (induction hob, oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher), tv by box, DVD player, electric shutters, underfloor heating, fireplace, towel dryer, internet / wifi broadband throughout the house, 2 toilets, 3 shower rooms including one with bath, laundry with washing machine and dryer, a private indoor pool (accessible with steps) treated and heated 10 meters from 4 meters wide and 1.5 meters deep, a private Jacuzzi with 6 seats and a terrace of 80m ² well oriented with awning and overlooking the entire valley with a large table and chairs for 10 people, 6 sunbathing and a gas barbecue (available during the summer period). Outdoor games for children.
Baby facilities are available on request (high chair, adjustable height bed, changing table).
Attached directly to the villa, a large flat terrain allows to practice badminton (equipment provided), ball games and other for young and old.
Enjoy all year round thanks to its proximity to the winter sports resorts of Bresse and Gérardmer, Ventron, Rouge-Gazon and the Alsace balloon and the property is a starting point for hiking (GR 7 and 533) and lovers of beautiful walks in the forest on trails marked by the club Vosges.
Moreover for our cycling and mountain bike friends, the villa is in the immediate vicinity of the green route (Remiremont-Bussang) ideal for beginners and mountain bike tours in the forest for more experienced people.
The 4 bedrooms on the first floor are equipped with storage and have 2 single beds (80x190) with the possibility of bringing them together and 2 pillows (50x70). A desk with a sofa bed 2 persons (140x190).
Possibility of providing bed linen and 2 towels with supplement (15 € / person).
Pets not allowed
Non-smoking inside the villa and on the terrace. Please do not throw your butts in the nature.
Party not allowed.

Summary: The property itself was ok and clean. However, it looked almost twice as big on the photos. There is no airconditioning which we definitely needed in the summer of 2024 and the beds were not very comfortable for this price level. The view is nice and it's very quiet (last house at the end of a relatively steep road). You could walk in the surroundings but for more activities you had to drive at least 20-30 minutes (horse riding) or one hour to Mulhouse (train and car museums and shops) or Epinal (nice kayaking or rafting on wild watertrack). Overall we enjoyed the stay in the house but there are issues that should be better (airconditioning and beds).

Summary: We were 4 families with kids (1-3 years old). We had a very pleasant stay. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The garden is very big and it feels like an estate. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and separated with a lock for the kids. The electricity cost for a week were minor, we payed about 90€ in July. We would come again. Only issue, that there are not many activities you could do with little kids. The nearest water playground is a 60 min drive - but luckily due to the big estate, we could manage well.

Summary: I can only say : Perfect house/villa for relax and enjoying the view of the vosges. I did also a lot mountainbiking which was very exciting too. Eugene was a great host and did support us in every cases and questions we had. Thumbs up. Hopefully see you and the house again :)

Summary: We warmly recommend this house after having stayed there for a week with 3 families including children. The owners are very kind and have made sure that we get the most out of our time. The house itself is spacious, very pleasantly furnished and in a very quiet location, without neighbours nearby. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and great for everybody to use and there is a lawn behind the house for outdoor activities (like frisbee, badminton, yoga...). The region is especially nice for hiking or cycling and there are great swimming lakes (lac de Gérardmer). We would definitely love to come again and are very grateful for the wonderful time we had.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our eleven day stay in L'allegrerie. We were two families with children of varying ages and there was plenty to do for all of us. The pool and jacuzzi area was luxurious and clean as was the house itself. The house is well appointed and very modern with comfortable beds and all amenities. A very good internet connection kept the kids happy and allowed us to share wonderful pictures of Fresse-sur-Moselle and the surrounding areas. There are lovely walks around the area starting right on the doorstep and we also took the opportunity to visit Freiburg in Germany, Mulhouse in France and Brunnen in Switzerland. This holiday home provided the perfect base for those excursions and it was a welcome place to return too. We had a wonderful stay here and would thoroughly recommend it to others.
