Positive: Beautiful little cottage so well set up for guests with everything thought of , obviously a lot of pride is taken with this accommodation. Fabulous options for breakfast & lovely touches with biscuits, chocs & wine . Bathroom is great

Positive: Perfect location in Penola historical precinct close to all town facilities including the excellent Pipers Restaurant. The cottage is beautifully restored with a great bathroom. All you need and then some with generous special treats for guests.

Positive: We have loved Penola and Petticoat Lane for years, so it was a dream to stay at Mr Wilson’s Cottage. The cottage is delightful and though 1850’s, has lots of modern and personal features. Breakfast provisions and other little Goodies were generous. It’s a charming little place brimming with history of the first settlers to the area. It’s well worth reading about the history and immersing yourself in it to get a full appreciation of how amazing the European settlers were. We will definitely return.

Positive: Mr Wilson’s cottage is an excellent place to stay. The breakfast is fabulous and the cottage and its history is fascinating. Jes and Meghan have done an incredible job to create this perfect little air bnb.
Negative: Tourists looking in through the windows. It freaked me out the first time, after that I just opened up the doors and told them all I’d learned about Mr & Mrs Wilson

Positive: We had a great break at Mr Wilson's. The bed was amazingly comfortable and we had everything that we needed to relax and enjoy the Coonawarra. A great blend of history and modern comfort.
Negative: Being tall people, the low doorways were interesting. This was not really a negative as it is typical of a building of this age - actually a good reminder of how life has changed over the years.
