The apartment is in a new house (2015). The kitchen is equipped with the essentials to prepare breakfast and small dishes. For more extensive cooking activities, we recommend to search a different apartment.

Summary: This is an excellent place to stay if you want to get out of the city. The apartment was very clean, and check in was a breeze. It is definitely nice to stay in the countryside, but one must keep the distance in mind if traveling to Munich. The host showed us a real nice brewery located in the small town, and was always available to help us out with anything we needed.

Summary: Great property about 40 minutes via tram from Munich. Very easy access to transit and a bonus to be in a quieter area after sight seeing and Octoberfest. Grocery store and restaurants/breweries one stop away in Aying. Rupert was very helpful with transit tips, etc. Definently would stay again. Thanks for a great visit. G & N

Summary: Our stay in Durnhaar was lovely! Our host was excellent and very thorough when we checked in. The apartment was perfect for our needs, very clean and had everything we needed. We were a 9 minute walk to the train which took us into Munich in about 20 min. Loved seeing the countryside and being in a quiet spot at night. Also, shout out to La Bella Sicilia Restaurant right by the Hรถhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn station. Fabulous food!! We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Rupert went above and beyond his role as a host. He helped us in navigating the train system (we saved so much money), made sure we arrived safely (that was quite the feat), and checked in to make sure our experience in Germany was better than expected (by offering tailored suggestions based on our likes). Best, a VERY short walk to the public transportation system. You will not be disappointed.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights in our apartment in Dรผrnhaar. It was just a short walk to the S-Bahn to ride into the center of Mรผnchen and a 5-minute drive to Aying to a great Biergarten. Our hosts were wonderful and our apartment was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We were also happy that we could park right in front of the house.
