Positive: The homestay was lovely, in a very quiet area. I was welcomed very warmly by the family. They helped to do a sunrise boat visit and I could rent a bike to explore the area.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay here. Friendly family, bikes available for exploring. Extremely clean and comfortable room. The terrace area was lovely to escape the afternoon heat. Family can book sunrise or sunset canoeing trips at a good price. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the setting. Dinner can be provided and was very tasty.

Positive: Our stay was wonderful. Enjoyed every bit of the property. Anjana and Anjit are very friendly and took good care of us while we were there . Property is very neat with all the tress around makes it so mesmerising. Anjit showed us all the medical and fruit plants around his property . Anjana cooked very tasty home food for us. We enjoyed the breakfast very much( kandala curry n appam)We wanted to stay longer but due to other bookings we couldn’t extend our stay there . We are planning to visit again the property along with our parents .

Negative: Limited options for Dinner. I wanted to have fish curry and as my husband doesn’t eat sea food we ordered chicken curry too with apppam . However we were told they can make only one curry and rice instead. So I had to go with only chicken curry . Probably next time I will insist Anjana to cook fish curry for me .

Positive: Beautiful, location on green Monroe Island, close to canals and the lake, and to restaurant options. Spacious, airy and clean rooms, and generally a very peaceful property with hammock to chill out in. The MOST delicious homemade Keralan food, and very kind and generous hosts (Ajith and Anjana).
