Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Plackal Heritage Homestay. Although we stayed for only one night, we truly wished we could have stayed longer. Anusree and her family were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. They made us feel at home and took great care of us throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything was arranged perfectly for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the beautiful sunset canoe and kayak trip through the backwaters. It was a peaceful and unforgettable experience. If you are visiting Munroe Island, we highly recommend Plackal Heritage Homestay. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and their hospitality was excellent. Communication was always quick and helpful. The canoe trips they arranged were amazing and made our visit even more special. We felt like part of their family and completely satisfied with our stay. We truly found a family in Kerala🥰

Positive: My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and had the most incredible experience with Anu and her beautiful family. The room was perfect with great aircon and the communal space was lovely. The food prepared by Ama was absolutely delicious every morning and night - probably the best meals we’ve had in Kerala. Ana also organised a sunset kayaking tour, a sunrise boat tour and a sunset yoga class for us and couldn’t have been more helpful with any questions we had or support we needed. As well as all of this and the highlight of our stay was the time we spent with their gorgeous daughter Nylu who we miss so much already!! I can’t recommend this home stay highly enough and I want to say another huge thank you to the whole family for having us.

Anusree is an amazing host who genuinely cares about her guests and makes sure everyone feels comfortable, just like home. The warm hospitality from Anusree and her mother made us feel like part of the family. The homemade food was absolutely delicious—one of the best we had in India! The whole atmosphere is friendly, caring, and full of positive energy. A special mention to little Nylu, such a talented and adorable girl—her singing and dancing made our stay even more memorable.❤💕 We truly miss this lovely family and will definitely come back again 🥰

From the moment we arrived, our host Anusree welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. Her mother prepared delicious homemade meals for us, giving us the wonderful opportunity to experience traditional Kerala cooking. The property itself has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We especially loved the beautiful garden surrounding the house, where we could sit outside, and enjoy the calm natural environment. ❤️ This homestay is surrounded by greenery . It is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the true beauty of Kerala. Bicycles were available for us, for exploring the island One of the most unforgettable experiences of our stay was the sunset kayaking and sunrise canoe trip, beautifully arranged by Anusree. It was not just accommodation, but a truly special cultural experience that we will always remember. We highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting Munroe Island and looking for peaceful hospitality, authentic experiences, and a heartfelt welcome. 💯

Negative: Nothing negative at all. Everything about our stay was wonderful. In fact, it was one of the most perfect stays during our journey in India. The only sad thing was that we couldn’t extend our stay because the rooms were already fully booked. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back again.
