Positive: this is a wonderful and very cozy, clean and comfortable cottage. we were on weekend family and with dog and were pleasantly surprised that even dogs are given attention and there is a separate cabinet with toys, treats and bowls for dogs. comfortable huge beds, clean kitchen with everything you need. hospitable and friendly hosts. we are very grateful for a wonderful weekend and will come back again

Positive: Place was as photographs suggested, it was very clean, bed was comfortable and standard of bedding was excellent. Aine greeted us with the key, she was very welcoming and appropriate. The complementary tea,coffee, milk and biscuits was a nice touch and much appreciated. The kitchen is full equipped, we didn't use it but would be good for those who need it. Also, there is wifi, we didn't use either but great for those who might need it. The bathroom is small but fully functional ( apart from a continuous flashing light that I'm sure Aine will have fixed for the next clients). It is a lovely summer rental and they allow dogs which was great for our bichon frise whom comes everywhere with us. Although the property is on a rural road there is a footpath back in towards town which is great for walking the dog.
Negative: It was extremely cold, the bathroom is at the end of the building and was literally an ice box. There was electric heaters but it took along time to heat up ( the bedroom heated up quickest). Aine texted to advise to turn off heat when not in the property however as soon as we turned off the heat the place was like an ice box again. I actually normally would not require much heat but if we are honest it was actually warmer outside than inside so unfortunately, the heat needed to be left on in the kitchen/lounge area and because we were instructed to turn it off we felt bad about using it and that made us uncomfortable and it ruined what is otherwise a lovely property with great attention to detail and cleanliness. We didn't use the shower because the bathroom was freezing and when you put on the heat, it kept turning itself off, the heater was too small anyway to make any impact on the coldness to be honest. You could see your breath! Also, you had to be over 6ft to be able to reach the switch which was fine for my husband but at 5ft 4 I could not reach it so it might be an idea to leave that switch on when people book in so they can pull the string for the heater. This will be a lovely summer rental when it's not as cold or it can be a lovely winter rental if the building was retro fitted and we are not instructed to turn off all the heat when not in the property when it's 0 to 4 degrees outside and colder inside when you return.

Positive: 2 incredible king size beds. Quiet and peaceful. Nicely equipped for self catering. Hosts made us very welcome and solved some small issues promptly.
Negative: Nothing!!
Summary: We spent 2 weeks travelling around Ireland and it was at the top of the list for our accomations!!
