Summary: The rooms and location were exactly as promised. Well kept, spotlessly clean, and close to the water and fishing. We don't fish and this was our first visit to Dunnville, so the location was maybe a bit challenging for us to find stuff to keep us busy. Rui was great, check in was easy, and loved the snacks they left behind for us to munch on!

Summary: It was a lovely little cottage at a great location. The weekend would’ve been perfect except for the fact that we didn’t get our code to get in emailed ahead of time. We arrived to the cottage at 4 (check in time) and couldn’t get ahold of Rui for an hour. His phone was off and he wasn’t answering our messages on the app. Once his phone came back on, he picked up fairly quickly and we were able to get in. Another hick-up was that when it rained, the wifi would go down, which wouldn’t be such a big deal if the LTE reception was okay, but it was also spotty (not great if you need internet access for business). And it rained A LOT while we were up there, so we got caught twiddling our thumbs a lot. Not something Rui can control, but this is just a fair warning to bring a laptop with downloaded movies or books to keep you busy should it rain. There is no cable television so be prepared to provide your own entertainment. Other than that the place was gorgeous and well stocked. We made use of the bbq out back and walked to the lighthouse (short distance with lovely view). The town is also fairly close by and cute and quaint. Do be careful going down the country roads though, we hit a deer on the way in. Overall would come back. This is definitely a good place to come for fishing. Get out there early bc it fills up FAST.
