Summary: Upon arrival we had to take a cab over to the property office, 20 minutes from where we were staying, get the keys, and go back to the apartment. That was a big hassle after an international flight to get to Barcelona. The neighborhood is okay - not great. There are a lot of mediocre stores and restaurants around the place. If you walk a few blocks over, it is beautiful and we did that a lot. The apartment itself was very clean, but some things hadn't been built very well - the kitchen cupboard doors don't open and close properly, the door to the living room scrapes the floor, and there is a very annoying door to the kitchen that prevents the refrigerator door from opening unless you close the kitchen door first. There is very little privacy for the master bedroom - you can hear everything in that room from the living room and kitchen. The rooftop pool was pleasant but small.
