Positive: Great location, totally remote. Not far from Cherokee and Bryson City, Fontana Lake and the dragon's tail, SR129. Nice and peaceful with a beautiful view from the balcony. Nice fire pit and cookout area. Nice kitchen with plenty of counter space. Plenty of dishware, pots and pans, etc . Absolutely beautiful and spacious master bath walk-in shower. Nice tv in the living room with plenty to watch. and also tv in the game room. Satellite internet for good and fast wifi.
Negative: Hot tub doesn't seem to work just right. Couldn't get some of the jets to work, but not a problem., still enjoyed it a few times. AC blower is very noisy. You can hear it come on while sleeping. Getting up to the place is a little bit challenging. Got turned around the first attempt up a couple of times, partially due to the Apple GPS. Google GPS worked better. Didn't read the email close enough to get through the gate code prior to driving up the second time (at night) and had to call and get the code. Didn't like driving up to the property at night. It's too steep and narrow to navigate. There's no room for error. Almost need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to get to the property. Again, too steep and narrow for a 2 wheel drive vehicle. There's no railing on the front porch. We had a slightly disabled Mother with us and it was hard for her to get up the stairs to the front porch. Also, had to drive Mother down to the lower level at night so she could go to her bed and bring her up in the morning for the day. Air hockey table is unlevel, sinks to one corner, but still fun to play. Ping pong table needs a little work. One half sits a little higher than the other side.

Positive: The cabin had everything we could possibly want, & then some. The view was gorgeous, the cabin was quiet & reasonably isolated, & the whole place was just awesome. We spent most of the time on the porch watching the mountains. I will be staying there again, asap.
Negative: My friend said the bottom bed of the bunk beds wasn't very comfortable (too soft?), but it might be perfect for someone else. The roads up to the cabin are wild & it's fairly easy to get lost, but we got there & back again.

Positive: I like the cabin, everything in it was clean nice view. Comfortable. As it says in the booking. But on our only full day, the power went out, which made us have to cancel our plans Because we were unable to get ready or use any of the amenities that the cabin was booked for. When mentioned to the property owner. Was kind of met with a smart remark on why we wasn't able to continue with our plans because of the power being out, and how she couldn't predict that. After paying that much money, I don't see how you can't see why that would affect the trip.When you're not able to use the amenities described in the description, and your on vacation with your mom. With that being said we are single women on vacation were not going to go out looking like bumbs if we wanted to do that, we would have stayed at home. Wouldn't have cost us a penny.
Negative: The response we got about the power outage. Not being able to use the amenities are continue with our plans because of it.

Positive: The location was very secluded and the house was comfortable and very well stocked. The hot tub was very clean and nice. The kids enjoyed the game room. The living area furnishings were comfortable for tv and movie watching.
Negative: When we arrived, the house was not accessible. We had to wait 1.5 hours for someone to arrive and let us in. The mattress in the queen bedroom has a large dip in the middle (perfect for a single person but not so great for two people).
Summary: Secluded and comfortable stay.
