After long days on the slopes or exploring the nearby tracks, this home has everything you need to be comfortable and melt into holiday mode. With open plan living, a pot belly fireplace to keep you warm and board games to keep every member of your group or family entertained. There is a place to hang all your ski gear as you enter the house as well as a drying rack above the wood burning stove.
The home also has a large yard and a private garden which offers plenty of privacy, and with a nearby wood-shed and plenty of wood you'll be able to keep the fire burning year round.
The property is ideally situated just a 20 minute drive from the popular Whakapapa Ski Fields, while a 25 minute drive will have you at the base of the famous Tongariro Crossing. If you're looking to stay closer to home, then you are walking distance to bars, cafes & restaurants.

Summary: This property is immaculate, everything stated and more. It is close to the mountain, 4 square, gas station, restaurants and ski hire. The house itself catered wonderfully for our family of 7 mostly adults and one teenager. Lots of room and facilities are top notch. Beds are so comfy to sleep in and bedding is great with extra cosy blankets. Towels and face cloths provided and cleaning products with plenty to help you keep the place clean, great vacuum cleaner also. It has a really neat deck to enjoy, cuppa and sunrise or sunset. There is great heat pump and super fireplace with ample wood and an airing rack above the fireplace. We really appreciated the little stash of Coffee, Teas, Jam, Honey and Peanut Butter, and the refreshing foaming hand wash in the bathroom. Huge off street parking and very quiet. Some games and videos are also supplied for the younger ones. The owners were in touch with us promptly and gave us a warm welcome they were also generous enough to give us a late check out of 4pm on our last day making our stay that much more relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place, no complaints from us Prescott family, we will definitely be back for sure :) . Thanks so much Ken and Karyn.

Summary: Our family of 4 rented this house for a long weekend ski-ing. Check in was easy and the house was lovely and tidy when we arrived. Popped the heat pump on and the house was rapidly toasty warm. Nice new kitchen for cooking our meals and a fantastic fire to lounge in front of on bean bags following a full day ski-ing. We had a great stay thanks.
