Positive: Great location to the park and easy to find. In walking distance there is a little shop at the gas station and also in walking distance you can reach a restaurant. Didn't expect this in a rural area.
Negative: It was a bit difficult how the heating worked, but we figured out.
Summary: Nice, clean and quiet apartment with a fireplace, balcony and garden near the park.

Positive: Great location with an easy walk to the shuttle for the Crossing as well as to the shops and dinner spots. Amazing views! Host was easy to deal with and responded quickly to requests. Modern place with great facilities
Negative: We struggled with the consistency/strength of the wifi connection when streaming services to the tv. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken while we were there - the host provided heaters but we didn't need them this time as the weather was good. The shower was a tight squeeze - but good pressure!!

Positive: The apartment was beautiful. Awesome view, full kitchen with everything you could need, plenty of parking, so close to town and Tongariro shuttles. And a really comfy bed and bath to come home to after a long day at the crossing. Highly recommend.
