2 Bedroom Villa in Castell'Umberto

The 'House in Paradise' is located in the Nebrodi National Park of Sicily, can accommodate 4 people and consists of two floors. On the ground floor there is a large salon with an open fireplace next to the kitchen. The 1st Floor consists of two bedrooms and a small study. One bedroom has a double bed, the other 2 single beds. On each floor there is a bathroom with a shower or Bathtub. The bedrooms are equipped with both ceiling fans and air conditioning for pleasant nights.
Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are available and can of course be used!
SAT TV Astra + Hotbird (German, English and Italian), internet connection, as well as dishwasher and washing machine and dryer are available!
The 20 sqm terrace with a view of the sea is directly followed by a 28 sqm swimming pool. Here you can enjoy the gigantic sunsets every evening. There is a permanently installed barbecue on the terrace.
Two Corratec mountain bikes with Shimano-XT gears are available for sporty guests.
The house and the outdoor facilities are not suitable for children under 6 years.

Summary: My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks as we drove around Sicily, and visited family in Calabria. This house, although difficult to get up to, was the perfect place to retreat to if you don’t want the chaos and hustle of a city. Also it was very hot (summer in Sicily!) and the pool was a wonderful way to refresh at the end of the day, and to pass a “villa day” where we enjoyed all day!

Summary: My wife and I have lived and traveled abroad for decades. This was our first trip to Sicily. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Fantastic views. Watched the sunset every day. Lovely little mountain village. The home itself appears almost brand new and is in excellent repair. Very comfortable and well-maintained. Restaurants and supermarkets close by. The folks in the village of St. George were friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this home highly enough. No negatives.

Summary: There is a certain amount of effort required to access this amazing villa but the rewards are truly worth it. Spectacular views, mountain air, private pool, every facility you could wish for. Walter leaves nothing to chance every facility is in good working order and instructions are thorough from the directions to the village to the multitude of domestic equipment all of which was in perfect working order,. My partner and I had the most wonderful week in and around Castel Umberto - made use of the mountain bikes pool and gardens plus excursions to Capo de Orlando and Tindari both very worth visiting. Could not recommend this place more highly.

Summary: This is a stunning property in a stunning location. The house is extermely well pointed with a beautful pool and views. A car is needed to explore - distances may not be long but the roads are winding, but this is nat a problem Nebrodi national park is incredible.

Summary: Lovely, very clean house situated in a beautiful village. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed the pool, sun sets and sky full of stars. Shops 5 min walking distance. Great restaurant one minute walk. The owner very responsive and helpful.

Summary: Great home in a lovely quiet location with fab views. Excellent comms with the owner. The road up to the house is a bit of a challenge but its fine really. Pizza restaurant below next door (which you can't hear). The local village has a small store for provisions and the bar across the road does great coffee.
