Positive: Location is a little way out of Nkhata Bay, but was quiet and by the lake.

Negative: Be aware that there are power cuts so aircon and showers do not always work. Solar back up keeps the lights on

Positive: Situated on lake shore so easy to swim. Not too. Many steps.. could have loud music at weekends. Ideal place to stay for a couple of nights before going on north or south.

Negative: Noisy guests, very late at night in the bar that should have been shut and that unfortunately the staff couldn’t control. Not really their fault.

Positive: Right on the waterfront. Restaurant served good food. In close proximity of the town if you have your own vehicle. Staff friendly and helpful.

Negative: There was a bit of confusion about the pricing as we stayed a night extra to our booking. Courtney sorted it out and all was good in the end. The balcony felt a bit precarious as there is no railing but could easily be fixed.

Summary: Relaxed stay on the waterfront.
