Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. recent villa with swimming pool on a Provençal hill. garden, covered terrace, parking. 2 km from the village. hyères beaches 20 minutes by car.
The house offers large volumes, all its construction was focused on the pool. This is why we find in the same extension, the kitchen, the dining area, the living room, the covered terrace and the swimming pool. From the mezzanine there is also a bird's eye view of the swimming pool and its green 'lagoon' color.
The north side of the villa offers a large tiled and covered terrace of 55 m2 which is also a play area for table tennis and a professional table football which should arrive for the summer.
From mid-June to mid-August, you will be lulled by the song of the cicadas, very present in our region.
Our terrace always benefits from a fresh sea wind and we do not suffer at the 'joucadou' from the rigors of the heat wave.
The pool temperature from June to mid September hovers around 29 degrees.
La Crau is a very pleasant little town, there are 2 'tree climbing' parks, a play park for children and for adults tasting of the many local great wines. The park of 'la castille' is a pleasant place for walking.
The proximity of the town of Hyères les Palmiers (8 km) allows all activities related to the beach, a visit to the island of Porquerolles is a must during your stay in the region.
The many Provencal markets allow you to familiarize yourself with Provence, that of Hyères on Saturday morning also gives access to the old town which is very typical.
In Toulon, Mont Faron and its cable car offer a fantastic view of the military port. The market for the 'Lafayette' course immortalized by Gilbert Bécaud is a colorful moment and a dip in Provence. It is possible nearby to take a boat for a visit of the harbor very pleasant and unique.
The Var with its star towns and St Tropez does not escape tourist clichés, it is an hour away and it is always a pleasure to discover it.
Many other activities are possible, among other things walking and access to many 'GR' are possible although in summer the forest is less accessible.
From the house it is directly possible to go by bike on very beautiful hikes towards the hinterland, it is the spring training ground of large professional teams.

Summary: Extended family group of five adults and two young children - all of whom agreed this was a lovely place to be based in . Hosts are really interesting and engaging throughout and the house has been adapted to promote a good time for all. The previous reviews are all true - great pool (we were blessed with tremendous weather so used it lots) and terrace areas with plenty of seating options. Indoors the kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are good sizes with aircon. La Crau has some good food shops and decent restaurants - and is a great base for exploring the wider area. Loved it.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this amazing villa! It was very well equipped with everything you could need and more. The pool, gardens and sitting areas are gorgeous, and the house is beautifully decorated. Claude was most helpful with any questions we had. It will be a special memory of our time in France. Summary: We’ve stayed here before - we spent 2 weeks here in 2019. We had such fond memories that we decided to return. Again, Claude and Titaina were wonderful hosts. The property is very clean and has everything you need in a home away from home. The pool is fantastic, a lovely temperature and good size for playing with the children. There are plenty of places to sit in the sun or relax in the shade. There’s lots to do and we loved the ping pong and table football. We had such a relaxing week here and loved every minute. Thank you Claude and Titaina for another fantastic holiday

Summary: We have had a wonderful holiday in the villa! Claude and Titaina gave us such a warm welcome, they are super friendly. When we entered the villa we were blown away by the view on the pool. The house smelt nice, and everything was really clean. The villa has everything you need! Even for our son of 2 years old there were lot of things to play with outside. We would definitely consider coming back. Merci pour tout!

Summary: I can't put into words how absolutely perfect this place is - from the extensive gardens (complete with petanque pitch, rope swing and zip line) to the beautifully decorated, comfortable and homely house, to the beautiful pool, to the outdoor gazebo eating area, to the ping-pong/babyfoot games area - everything was just brilliant. Claude and Titaina are awesome hosts, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived - nothing was too much trouble and our son really enjoyed helping to collect the eggs from the chickens (also in the gardens). We had absolutely everything we needed in the house, and more. It was the perfect size for 6 of us (four adults and two kids), and provided an ideal base to explore the Cote d'Azur and surrounding areas. We went to Cassis, Hyeres, Aix, St Tropez, Port Grimaud, Frejus, Antibes, Toulon, Mont Faron, Peroquelles and the local tortoise zoo - all within easy driving distance - all combined with plenty of playing in the pool and relaxing on the sun beds. We do a lot of these types of holidays where we rent a cottage/house/villa and I can honestly say this was, by far and away, our best experience - everything was just perfect. Thanks Claude and Titaina for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa and for making our holiday the best ever!
