At ten kilometers from the ocher walls of Sarlat, between the valleys of the Dordogne and Vézère, in the heart of a Black Périgord rich in its history and generous nature, our property, 15 ha of meadows and woods, is Refuge LPO. (Laisse Protectrice des Oiseaux) La Petite Bergerie, half-stone half-wood, has been arranged for the greatest comfort of our guests. Well insulated it does not need air conditioning. With its two bathrooms, and its two w. It is ideal for two couples of friends, but also, of course, for a family with two children (not counting baby).

Summary: The house is well-equipped and immaculately clean. It's central location makes it a great base from which to explore the Périgord Noir. We really enjoyed the pool, badminton, and table tennis. The huge grounds surrounding the cottage make it a great place to unwind.

Summary: The hosts were very kind, assisting and non-intrusive. The domain is stunning, we've spotted a deer on our first evening walk around the premise. The home was spotless and felt very welcoming, the kitchen has all appliances needed. We were allowed to charge the car with fair compensation. All in all a correct price/quality stay and if the option permits we'd love to stay there again sometime.

Summary: If you are looking for a home away from home but without all the stresses of everyday life, then look no further! You will be as overcome as we were to arrive at this stunning property! We had to pinch ourselves daily to believe it! Jean-Luc & Monica have created the most charming gite, everything you could wish for is there, nothing has been forgotten. The place is immaculate, you can see that Jean-Luc & Monica work extremely hard to maintain their property and grounds. Jean-Luc & Monica live within the grounds and are around if you need them and happy to stop for a chat but are in no way intrusive to your holiday. You will also have sole use of a lovely, clean, well- maintained pool in the beautiful grounds. Our days would start with fresh percolated coffee and fresh bread/croissants on the covered terrace whilst contemplating the many places to visit/things to do. Some days, we just lazed by the pool, swam, and relaxed. Others, we were up early to visit the markets and historic buildings in the beautiful mediaeval town of Sarlat-la-Caneda. This property is well located for exploring the beautiful Dordogne area, the many chateaus and places of interest but note that you do need a car! Alas, our 2 weeks of complete relaxation came to an end on Saturday morning. We really didn't want to leave but after tears and hugs we drove away from the most perfect holiday ever. You won't meet a lovelier couple than Jean-Luc & Monica. à bientôt (with improved French next time)!

Summary: This Gite is simply stunning, the photos don`t do it justice as its more beautiful than you could imagine, It has a wonderful home from home feeling, spotlessly clean, everything you would need and more, The location is perfect for exploring the Perigord Noir and further afield if you wish. The hosts are wonderful, so helpful and discreet that you would never know they were there unless you needed them. I can not recommend this gite highly enough as you certainly will not be disappointed for which I can ensure you of that! The pool is superb and the grounds of the gite are simply stunning and a true haven of tranquillity and beauty,

Summary: Surrounded by beautiful woods, gardens, open areas! The most amazing hosts! A short drive to Sarlat and so many easy day trips all over the Dordogne! Comfortable, well-appointed home with a lovely pool! We would stay here again, without question!

Summary: This was our second stay here, previous before Covid. Good to be back and everything was as expected, comfortable bed, and all the equipement you need. Supermarket was 10 mins away, either Leclerc, or Carrefour. Very good pool but a bit cool when we were there to use iot.

Summary: A perfect stay in this beautiful gite, set in a tranquil and natural location. It offers a fabulous, immaculately maintained swimming pool and other excellent outdoor recreational facilities. Always a delight to return home to, after busy days exploring the fantastic Dordoyne. Jean-luc and Monica are the loveliest of hosts, always helpful and making us feel very welcome. Our only regret is that we couldn't get to know them more. Summary: We had a wonderful stay. The place is fantastic. So nice and chilled. The pool was everything we wanted it too be. The owners Jean Luc and Monica were really helpful and gave us all the privacy we needed. I would t hesitate to book again.

Summary: My partner and I stayed for 1 week and were totally relaxed the whole time. I swam in the pool even though It was a little chilly but bracing. We used the facilities such as table tennis, badminton, boules and played cards. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. Just what you need to wind down.

Summary: The property was located in a very quite area outside Sarlat, it was very clean when we arrived and had everything we required and was as described on the web site . Mr & Mrs Dubost were excellent hosts, very welcoming and spoke very good english. The pool was cleaned every day and had a good cover to retain the heat overnight. The location was ideal to visit the many interesting villages in that part of the Dordogne. All in all a very good holiday.
