Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Door County! This was our first trip to Wisconsin and we did not know quite what to expect. This location was great for our family in a quiet area with amazing, beautiful views of Lake Michigan and a nice screened in porch off the dining area. There were other houses nearby but with so many trees, we felt secluded, which we liked. We used this as our home base and traveled to other cities in Door County with about 15-20 minutes in the car. We bought bottled water to drink as we were told the water has a high iron count, and it was a little tight with only one bathroom. We had an easy check in/out process and tried to leave the property as clean as we found it.

Summary: You really feel like you're getting away from it all yet you're just a short drive from all the action in Door County. Nice easy bike ride on less traveled roads to Whitefish Dunes State Park and Cave Point County Park.

Summary: If you are looking for a place that has peace and solitude with some beautiful views, this is the perfect place. I have stayed multiple times at this property and it does not disappoint! Can’t wait to return!

Summary: Excellent location and easy to find, we were just a short drive from many of our favorite spots from Newport State Park to Bailey's Harbor, galleries, farmstands and more. This property has a nice campfire area overlooking the lake on the cliff, but alas, high winds kept us from a fire, but we enjoyed the waves! Note - there is NO beach access - some of the photos are misleading. A few tips - be sure to bring ALL the linens you could possibly need from pillows to towels, sheets, etc. Also, there are no throw pillows on the couch despite them being shown in photos. And remember you'll have to clean before you leave (and maybe clean a little bit when you get there because you're counting on the previous guests to clean well when they leave). The house is sparsely outfitted, but you'll have most things you need. We were OK rolling with that level of service, but it's good to know if you're not down with that. The WIFI is good, but if you plan on watching TV you'll have to access your streaming services or watch DVDs or VHS. Again, not a problem for us, but good to know.

Summary: This is what Rich says! And I agree except to add…except the one day that you have to leave. I only hate to give a great review because then everyone will know how awesome this place is and will take all the available days! This may not be the fanciest place (and I do wish for some more comfortable outdoor chairs!!!) but we absolutely love Rich’s homes. We have stayed at both and cannot wait to come back. Charming, homey, and the location is heaven. Not in the thick of tourists - but convenient to everything! Spotless and well stocked, comfortable beds and responsive host. Counting days until we can return!

Summary: Great view of Lake Michigan! Beautiful sunrises and moon rises! Perfect for couples or small families! Very quiet setting and remote, but still only 2 minutes away from Jacksonport and 20 minutes from Fish Creek. Owner communicates very well and it's easy to check in and out and clean up afterwards. Perfect score!
