Welcome to Fox Run, a new single level cabin in the heart of the Adirondacks, where all your adventures await!
The cabin is on a private dead end road, minutes to Gore Mountain Ski Resort. Other fun activities include pedal carting along the mighty Hudson River, or, if you’re really looking at getting into the river, tubing, kayaking and white water rafting.
Are you a hiker? An abundance of mountains and trails await, and you can find something for any skill level, from expert to casual. You will also find caves to explore, bike riding, or even plane rides.
There are plenty of lakes where you will find beaches to relax or tan on, countless fish species to catch, clean, spring-water fed swimming, chartered boat tours, or, heck, rent or bring your own boat or kayak to explore the gorgeous views unseen from any roadway.
Take an easy 25 minute drive south to Lake George to enjoy all of its attractions as well,
If you prefer to sit back and relax, the 5.89 acres of property the cabin rests on has multiple decks, Adirondack chairs and benches, wraparound deck, wood burning fire pit, a yard for playing games, or woods to meander around in, checking out what The Adirondacks have to offer. Deer have been seen from the hot tub, deck, and living room in multiple seasons. There have also been stories of moose traveling through the area and birds of many species to watch.

Summary: Fox Lane road was washed out some. The fire pit, hot tub, and picnic table were wonderful. The master suite bed was ok while others were slightly small and high, WI-FI was excellent, washer/dryer were nice, kitchen was well planned and supplied. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed this location even with a bear diving into our trash.

Summary: The house was super cozy and cute! Although all of us got a staph infection from Using the hot tub on the property. Upon booking the listing was pet friendly, we asked about brining our dog with and we were told we couldn’t. Chip was good with communicating but failed to help us once we found out about the infection. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Summary: My family stayed for a long weekend of skiing at Gore. The house was clean, cute and picturesque as advertised. Twelve inches of snow fell & the driveway was plowed and passable! We had a great time.

Summary: A wonderful, well appointed cabin in the woods with lots to do both on property and off! Just a stone’s throw from Gore mountain made our ski getaway so convenient. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches- board games and toiletries…and also loved the wildlife right in the backyard. We had no problems cooking several meals for our group in the kitchen that had just about everything we needed. (Wine glasses would have been a nice addition!) we would stay again for sure.

Summary: This Adirondack cabin is all newly refinished and very clean and comfortable. Near Gore Mt for skiing. The woodsy setting would be nice for summer too.

Summary: The pictures don’t do it justice. The location is perfect. Not too far off the beaten path. The decks/hot tub look out into a wooded clearing of pine forest. Neighbors are out of sight. Absolutely silent. So peaceful. And the place was white glove clean. Listing was as described. Amenities were copious. There were some toiletries, though bring own if staying for more than a couple days. If visiting in winter to enjoy the ski season, just be prepared for winter driving as the 2 secondary roads out of the neighborhood are packed gravel before hitting the main roads that are paved state highways. A good set of snow tires would be recommended. It was only a little slick on fresh powder. Though had there been ice, it might not have been as easy to get in and out. Overall a good time. Would highly recommend.

Summary: We stayed at the cabin for four nights and three days while we were skiing at Gore with our six year old twins. The cabin is set back in the woods and gives you a feeling of total privacy. The cabin’s layout and decor gives it a cozy relaxed feel, while the finishes are all beautiful and high-end. The kids loved the bunk beds and we all loved the treat of the hot tub after a day of skiing. Communication with the owner was unmatched and he could not have been more helpful or responsive. I would highly recommend this property to others! You will not be disappointed.
