Summary: The location was perfect for our trip, with a lot of restaurants and a grocery store nearby, all within walking distance. We felt safe during our stay.

Summary: We had a great time and would definitely book this unit again. It's in a really awesome neighborhood with a lot of restaraunts, coffee shops and bars within walking distance. Parking can be a pain but if you are wanting to walk or even just be patient and park on the street it's a fantastic place! It is a little smaller than the picture with minimal furniture but for us with 2 people it was a great experience and we would love to come back!

Summary: My husband and I are in Portland often and usually stay in the Pearl District. This apartment was a refreshing change for us. Slabtown is a fantastic location. Vibrant area and walkable to everything we needed. The unit was actually larger than it appeared in the photos. The bed was very comfy, unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay again

Summary: The apartment is great: clean, comfortable. EXCEPT the air conditioner is busted. I understand things happen, but this was a heatwave, and the ac was certainly a big part of why I chose this place. I reported it on Sunday morning and never received communication. (I hope the poor owner unit knows how little the management company seems to care.) Unfortunately it Is now Saturday and not only is it still not fixed, Vacasa never once contacted me with information or a follow up. I called them. They did lie several times about when I would receive further information, such as “tomorrow by this time” or “before 3pm today.” I was also told several times that I would get contacted about a ‘loss of amenity’ compensation “tomorrow.” And then, when I called to say I hadn’t heard anything, I was told some excuse about the building management company and insurance company repair claim. That should have NOTHING to do with the substantial payment I made to you, Vacasa. You need to make it right, not blame someone else. Furthermore, Vacasa was unhelpful with a bizarre occurrence—the building’s fob system is on the fritz. When I contacted Vacasa to let them know I was locked out of the building at 11pm, they told me I should try a key. There is no key. Try a phone number…no answer. Another tenant walking by had to let me in! And neither of us could use the fob-activated elevators. Absolutely not, not, not okay. If you aren’t on-site you need MUCH better communication. Just terrible.

Summary: I stayed here during a multi-day training. I was looking for accommodations with a full kitchen to help me reduce the cost of meals. The location enabled me to walk ~ 2 miles daily to/from the training, which was what I was hoping for. This building is two blocks from a popular street full of activity - great for shopping, eating, being social; the immediate neighborhood where this building is located is generally quiet. I submitted some comments related to small improvements that could be made but overall this place was comfortable for me. It is a small-ish unit, so I'm not sure how comfortable it would be to share with another person, but definitely not more than one for any amount of time/overnight.

Summary: My son and his wife live in this neighborhood. So many wonderful places to eat. Great grocery store right across the street. The condo is as it looks. Nicely supplied, but as someone else said, only one wine glass? The washing machine does not work. We were there for 3 nights. Slept well. Very quiet. Easy to check in and out. Would stay here again.
