Summary: It was so quick and easy to get to this property from downtown Chicago and it provided a perfect quick pre-back to school getaway for us. The property had everything our high-maintenance teens wanted and plenty of space for us to spread out. I enjoyed the private hot tub and the well-equipped kitchen. The teens loved the pool, and my husband enjoyed the large, luxurious bathrooms.

Summary: House was clean, and smelled nice. Pool was heated and at accurate chemical levels. Hot tub also clean and perfect with chemicals (yes, I brought my own test strips). I wouldn't put an adult in the 11th bed which was a loft; it would be good for kids. Included shampoo/conditioner and coffee pods. Doors were a bit hard to open and lock, be sure you read the directions that are sent to you carefully. Beds were comfortable. There are a ton of games. Many more little amenities than I expected which was a nice surprise. Owner was very prompt to respond to any questions. Very pleased with this rental. Recommend.

Summary: Just returned home from this trip and already want to go back! Great property! We loved the backyard set up—the pool, deck, hot tub and fire pit were all great and enjoyed! The house was very clean with spacious rooms. Nice quiet street with a friendly deer who came by daily. Communication with the hosts was great and the house was fully stocked—everything we needed was available. Highly recommend this house for families/friends with littles through teens.

Summary: We stayed at this house with three kids (ages 1.5, 7 and 9). The house is off a main road but in a quiet neighborhood. Pros are the backyard pool and hot tub. The house has three bedrooms with bathrooms attached. Cons - there was a musky odor coming from the master bedroom. We discovered during our stay that the basement (which you can only get to from the master bedroom) had water damage with standing water, with clear leakage around the furnace and along the walls. This was causing the smell and obviously is a health concern. Homeowner acted like she had no idea (even though previous review also pointed to water issues on the outside of the home). She then tried to accuse us of causing the water damage. They need to properly seal the foundation and remove standing water prior to renting.
