5 Bedroom House in Houston, Minster

Our property is a barn house (shouse) located on just over 3.5 acres. The living quarters is over 2200 square feet and can sleep up to 22 guests. You can walk directly out to the fully heated/cooled barn that provides just under 6000 square feet of entertaining space. A 150" projector screen allows you to entertain your guests with the big game or have a movie night with the kids. Also in the barn is a bar with a beverage fridge and bar sink. From the barn you can walk out to the 1800 square foot covered patio and look out at the 3/4 acre stocked pond. The pond has a nice beach area to enjoy while everyone is swimming. If you are not a swimmer, feel free to bring your fishing poles and cast a line. If you are looking for a good workout, hop in the two pedal boats and cruise around the pond. The patio has plenty of seating and has two propane fire tables.
When the weather is nice outside we have a portable basketball Hoop for the paved parking lot, two portable soccer goals, wiffle ball, kick ball and footballs to enjoy. We have two cornhole boards and more outdoor games. If the weather is not so nice, you have the 6000 square foot barn to play most games inside!
The property gives you so much to do while you are here. Located just outside of town provides the country scene while close to local amenities. We look forward to your stay!

Summary: Our stay was excellent. The few minor issues that popped up were taken care of right away by the owner. Very clean and spacious and the event area in the barn was great. Will definitely stay here again. Just beautiful !

Summary: We hosted our son's graduation party at Maple Lane Retreat and it was a hit with all ages! The pond was clean and beautiful. The outdoor seating area was perfect and provided so much additional seating and we enjoyed the scenery. So easy to decorate since magnets are provided. The projector screen was a perfect addition to the party and we were able to show photos the whole time. The outlets and connections were great for the singer that came with his own equipment.The living area is very tasteful and accommodating for a large group. Really like that there's a door between the living area and bedrooms that can be locked. Best part was that we didn't need to bring a single thing! Bedding, kitchen items, yard games, ladders, grill anything you can think of. The owner was extremely helpful and quick with replies. We couldn't have asked for anything better

Summary: The property was exactly as listed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very large and well stocked. The outside porch with gas fire pits were wonderful. In addition, there was a wood burning fire pit, and a pond that the kids and adults could fish in. A huge bonus is the barn. It was a great place to play cards. Also, the kids enjoyed all of the games that were provided. I would definitely stay here again!
