Relax at our peaceful cottage getaway! This newly rehabbed home is walking distance from Warren Dunes State Park. It's easy to bike or drive to numerous other beaches, neighboring towns, wineries and breweries. Centrally located to enjoy all the wonders of SW Michigan - close to Red Arrow for ease but privacy is afforded as we are located on a dead end street with a backyard surrounded by a privacy fence. Enjoy a brand new private hot tub, upgraded appliances and new furnishings. This is the perfect place to unwind. This is a quiet area, so we don't suggest it if you're looking for a party scene :)
Please Note:
- The pet fee (if applicable) is based on a single pet < 20lb. If you would like to bring a second pet this will be subject to an additional pet fee - so please inquiry should you want to bring a second pet.
- All renters must abide by the house rules or be subject to additional fees. We will never charge for mess or laundering from normal use, and thus far have never had to utilize someone's security deposit thanks to respectful guests! However, if we require extra cleaning due to excess mess or extraordinary maintenance of the hot tub due to misuse, we will deduct from the security deposit. So please read the rules carefully and you will need to attest to these rules prior to arrival.

Summary: Nice house, big back yard, close to Warren Dunes. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and a dog. Short drive to New Buffalo and Union Pier. Minor issues were dealt with by the owner quickly. Had a good time here. Quiet neighborhood just off the main road.

Summary: For our vacation this year we found a gem of a rental! The place was clean and just the right size for the 5 of us. Plus we were so close to the park(about a mile away), shopping(including antiques), and restaurants. We will return when we do another Dunes vacation! The hosts were very quick to respond to questions. Thank you Sam and Mimi!

Summary: The home was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We felt welcomed with a few beverages awaiting us when we arrived. They even had a few dog bones, dog dishes for our pets. The hot tub and firepit were great! It is not far to the Warren Dunes State park. You could walk or ride a bike there, but would be difficult to take your beach equipment. There are many things to do on the area. It is also in close proximity to many small towns. Location would only be better on the beach. We made great family memories we will.cherish!

Summary: This home was perfect for our return visit to Michigan. The home was very clean, welcoming and spacious. The animals even felt very welcome. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!!

Summary: We had 3 adults, 2 kids, a baby and a dog. It was plenty of room for all. The house is very clean and the kitchen has excellent new appliances. The owners are super responsive if you need anything. The location is basically across the street from Warren Dunes. The hot tub is clean and new. Overall, this is an excellent property. Worth the money

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Mimi and Sam’s place. It was well appointed with cooking utensils and place settings. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided in dispensers. Towels and linens and even beach towels were there for use. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets also provided. And they provided starter kits for grill (which we did not use) and fire pit. The hot tub was a nice addition! The fenced in yard worked well for our pups too! It is a little tricky to find. It’s a little bit north of intersection of Red Arrow Hwy and Sawyer Rd. Right turn on Lodge and first right on gravel road is Spruce. Street sign was covered by tree branches. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Such a great home! Sam and Mimi provided a beautiful space for kicking back and feeling comfortable. A lovely home with high end appliances, comfortable surroundings and elegant touches, including beautiful ceiling fans and light fixtures, and a cozy fire pit in the yard. As an added bonus, we were welcomed with cocktails, coffee, and a bundle of fire wood. Thanks for giving us a place to connect and unwind. We had a great time!
