Summary: We just returned from our wonderful stay at Sandcasas. The house is beautiful and well appointed, the location is beautiful as well. The upstairs balcony off the master bedroom is perfection.

Summary: Nice new home, nice location. Lots of beds /rooms for the family. Short walk to beach, greast gulf views. The heated pool was not heated, the ktichen needs more pot / pans etc.and better quality. No outside trash bins were on property.

Summary: Our stay was great despite the weather being cold for the 1st week of our 2-week stay. The home was just as listed. Our only complaint was the walk to the beach with small children, carts, toys, snacks, chairs and fishing gear all in tow. It really wasn’t far at all, but when asked by people working on the house next door and others that were in the area (real estate agents, landscapers) why we weren’t using the path from the pool front to the beach and we told them the house rules said we couldn’t but we were told by them we could, they shook their heads and chuckled at us, we followed the rules despite being told to use the path, although it would’ve been a hell of a lot easier especially when our 3 year old needed the potty. I would stay again in a heartbeat, we love the area and will be back next year.

Summary: Overall our stay was good. We checked in on Saturday with no problems. The master bed was very uncomfortable, and sheets were not the right size for the bed. The bed was a queen and the sheet used was a twin. I would recommend bringing your own sheets if staying at this property. The full size mattress in one of the bedrooms was so bad it all shook when you rolled over and you could feel the springs in it. If you plan on cooking AT ALL you will want to bring some skillets, pots, and large bowls with lids. There are lots of dry measuring cups but not one for liquid. The view is obstructed due to a house being built right next door. They were painting the house during our stay and their workers slept In their car each night. Pool was great for the kids and we loved being right by the beach. Water was muddy and talking to locals it is always that color. Septic tank leaked and overflow came out the top causing a horrible smell. We called Vacasa but did not see any repairs. Overall it was a good week and we were satisfied with the house but probably won’t be back here.

Summary: Pros: House is brand new, Pool is perfect size, view is great, tubs and showers are big, AC works wonders, big TVs, Neighbors are not to close yet. Cons: House has terrible echos, you hear everything in it move at night, mattresses are garbage. Middle room upstairs door doesn’t shut due to beds being to big in room, Fridge doesn’t get cold enough but is okish, parking is doable but tight under house for 2+cars, no decent path to beach- there is a wood walkway about 100yds up driveway and then down to beach. Easier to just walk over dunes. Water was rough and dirty entire trip. Somthing to do with location near a river. Went to cape and Mexico beach and it was clear and calm. So it’s this location. Also no close restraints excep one oyster bar and what’s on cape so 30 mins to get groceries or food.

Summary: The house is brand new and was very clean when we arrived. Amazing views of the ocean from the house. Easy access to the beach which was great. The house has a 2 car car port too. The only issue we faced was there weren’t any spare trash bags in the house and after contacting the property manager they delivered it a day later. Also would have liked to have some extra dishwasher detergent pods as the 2 pods that were provided finished after 2 days of our stay. Overall it was a fabulous experience a s would definitely go back next time we are in that area
