Summary: We had to take cold showers during our one week stay; we informed the owner of this problem on the first day and were told to run the water for five minutes. We tried running the water for much longer than this but it never even got lukewarm. We also found it odd that we had to request things like toilet paper, soap, towels, can opener and bath mat; these are items that one would expect to see at any VRBO advertised with a kitchenette. We thought the owner might offer some compensation for the inconvenience but so far, nothing! We cannot recommend this VRBO in good conscience.

Summary: Our host was quick to respond and allowed us to check in a little early. The downside was the location. It wasn’t super close to anything and not very walkable. We rented a scooter to get around. Nassau downtown is a ways away. I wish there were extra towels for the beach.

Summary: Great location- within a short walk to the Beach. This place was located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Very close to Grocery stores. Updated inside. With thoughtful things like a walk, good temp control, closet organizer, TV etc. Upon check in - address said Road and not street which led to confusion and a bit of stress- since we had to drive around for an extra 30 minutes- looking for the address. The map on VRBO also pointed to the wrong location. This was fortunately corrected by reaching the manager after a bit of time, because I had a connected phone and a very patient transport driver. To the credit of the manager they had provided their phone number in the days leading into the check in- which saved the situation, especially since- the check in process details did not make through to me in the VRBO app including the lockbox pin. Overall -happy that I stayed here. The area has a charm all it’s own! This looks like a new property listing- and I am sure most of the above will be ironed out.
