'Coastal Distancing' is your home away from home on the Gulf Coast. This cute and colorful home boasts an amazing wrap-around porch, third-floor sunset balcony swing, mini-office, four bedrooms plus a loft. Comfortably sleeps 12 with two full bathrooms. The house features an open floor plan that spans the length of the home and features a wall of windows for spectacular views of Surfside Beach, TX and the Intercoastal Waterway.
The Intercoastal Waterway has an exit leading to the Gulf of Mexico, where some breathtakingly massive vessels pass the home just a block away from the wrap-around porch and sunset balcony. They pass quietly several times a day. This is a unique source of excitement and curiosity for ALL, especially the children!
The living area consist of a comfortable sitting area with a large smart TV (Netflix, YouTube, 50+ channels (Fubo TV), Disney Plus, dvd player, Wii gaming system) for endless entertainment, a dining area and additional seating at the kitchen bar. As a family that loves to cook and bake, the kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, utensils, plates, blender, toaster oven, Kitchen-Aid mixer, and much more! Unfortunately, we are no longer providing complimentary waffles (per the reviews).
The convenience to the beach, expansive space, views from the Intercoastal Waterway, sunset crimson skies, proximity to the splash pad, neighborhood convenient stores (2 minute drive) and Jetties are just a few of the features that make us love this home more and more!
The Space
- Ground Floor: covered and non-covered parking, outside bar, swings, picnic table, cushioned chairs, Bluetooth sound bar, fire pit, barbeque grill (charcoal), fenced area, beach toys, beach chairs, wagons, and toddler buggy.
- Main Level: Spacious wrap-around deck; open concept living room and stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, kitchen aid mixer, toaster, salt, pepper, cooking oil and much more!), bedroom with queen size bed, bunk bedroom with 4 twin size beds, baby monitor, 2 highchairs, booster, board games), gaming system (Wii) and Super Nintendo, washer/dryer, full bathroom with additional door to access from outside when you come back from the beach!
- Third Level: Master bedroom with queen size bed and master bathroom, adjacent to a small office with desk, open loft (full-size bed), loft (twin size bed), balcony with swing facing the jetties.

1) 60-90 minutes from Houston with almost a 0% chance of a traffic filled drive
2) Lake Jackson is less than 20 minutes away with an HEB and many more offerings
3) There's 2 convenience stores a 1 minute drive away for any last minute items
4) If coming from Houston, you will pass 3 Buccees....those Beaver Nuggets and Jerky!!
5) 3 blocks from a pedestrian only beach and Jetty Park. This takes less than 1 minute to drive and less than 5 minutes to walk.
6) Jetty park has a super fun vibe where families setup picnics, fish or walk on the jetties, or enjoy some of the best surfing in Texas.
7) There's a free splash pad 1 block away with lots of fun water features for the kids (and adults) as well as covered picnic tables. This works great to get a fresh water refreshment after some time at the beach.
8) Some of the best surfing in Texas is available by the nearby jetties where people drive from across Texas to catch the waves year around.

2) Floor plan designed for views and spaciousness. The main kitchen and living area is surrounded with 3 walls of large windows. This makes the already expansive space feel even larger and more relaxing.
3) The lot to the rear and next door are vacant giving a unique sense of solitude & distancing
4) Floor plan works well for two families. There's an adult bedroom, kids bedroom, and bathroom on both the 1st and 2nd floor.
5) The sunset balcony boasts a swing and offers additional views, fun, and privacy.
6) The kitchen is light and bright adding to the vibe of fun in the sun
7) There are 3 TV's equipped with internet TV, movie service, and YouTube.
8) The family room TV has a Wii gaming system and DVD player.
9) The ground floor area has been designed for lots of fun. Whether you want to swing, enjoy a fire, hang out at the bar, or run around in the abundant space there is lots of options and space for everyone.
10) The wrap around porch works well for animals as they bask in the breeze. There is also a fenced in area and pet friendly staircase for pets of all ages.
11) The master bedrooms are all spacious with nice natural light. The master shower is large enough for two and features a handheld shower wand, which can come in handy after a trip to the beach.
12) The home features a full home water softener & filter as well as reverse osmosis drinking water at the kitchen sink.
13) Golf cart available for $150-$200/night with a $500 security deposit.
The home is equipped with 4 exterior cameras only that are typically only used if there is an incident. There are no interior cameras.
