Summary: The cabin was in a beautiful location on the lake. The inside was very clean and spacious. Pool table was a bonus! My son loved it. The lake access was nice and the cabin had a canoe and 2 kayaks you could use. Kitchen was stocked with all the appliances you would need and they had lots of board games and card games too. Fire pit area was nice but we couldn’t use it due to a fire ban the week we were there. The cabin was a couple miles off the main road on a gravel road but the directions given were accurate. We had a wonderful experience here!

Summary: Pictures don’t do this justice! We loved the recliners, couches, tv, and reading lamps for rainy days. Lots of places to sit for a meal. Outside deck looked onto the lake and everything was so peaceful. We really enjoyed the fire pit area as well. This is a very quiet setting which was perfect. Gravel road to take walks on—never even heard any traffic from the highway.

Summary: What a great weekend! This is a clean, spacious, and well-furnished cabin on a peaceful, sparsely populated lake. Communication and check-in were smooth and easy, and the amenities were exactly as described. We used the kayaks provided to explore and reconnect with the sights and sounds of nature on Jack the Horse Lake. Star viewing from the dock was magnificent! Our expectations were exceeded - I highly recommend this rental.
